This downtown Nanaimo hotel overlooks the Inner Harbour and is across the street from the Seaplane Terminal. The hotel offers free WiFi and free parking. The room was small but very nice. Parking was included which was great! We were in walking distance to a nice bar that had a jazz jam which was lovely.

Boasting rooms with ocean or city views, Coast Bastion Hotel in Nanaimo city centre is 2 minutes’ walk to shops and restaurants on Harbourfront Walkway. A restaurant is located on site. Excellent location right by the marina. Phenomenal views.

An on-site launderette is featured at this Nanaimo accommodation. Free Wi-Fi is provided in all rooms. Departure Bay Ferry Terminal is 4km away. it's a hostel. clean, quiet, safe and comfortable. I rebooked this place on my return trip after staying there the first time.

Our room wasn't ready when we arrived, and staff seemed very concerned that we'd be angry - the place is relatively new and there were a couple of other guests who were engaged in quite aggressive conversations with other staff at the time. Seems like there are some issues that need ironing out. However I have no complaints, we were given a beer each, went to park the car across the street, and by the time I returned the room was ready. Room was perfect, bed was huge, swimming pool was a welcome addition. It was only a layover but would have happily spent another night. I think the staff member who helped us might have been called Vern or something similar. He was a really nice guy.

Campbell Cottage B&B is located in the Old City Quarter of Nanaimo. Free WiFi access is available. Perfect breakfast!! Perfect host!! Perfect staying!! Best experience ever!

A nice, clean, comfortable room located near downtown and the harbor for a reasonable price with parking. A few semi-related tips. Neck Point Park is about 15-20 mins away with incredible views of the ocean and potential to spot marine life (we just missed a pod of orcas). Also the Save on Food in the Nanaimo suburb was the best grocery store we visited in the island/Vancouver/Calgary if you are cooking your own meals.
