Arriving at Bessy's really is like arriving in Paradise! She is a lovely person and a most gracious and generous host. I felt a sense of calm and also very much at home in my apartment. I doubt any 5-star hotel could compare in terms of cleanliness; the attention to detail is astounding and exceeds all expectations. I have never seen any place that is so warm and inviting yet so meticulously spotless and ordered. You will find everything you need, and so much more, as Bessy has thought everything out in a way that is both highly intuitive and incredibly practical. The bed and linens were the most comfortable I had in my 3 weeks in Croatia and that speaks volumes since I don't really have anything negative to say about any of the places I stayed. More comfortable than any highly rated hotel - it is not even comparable. Bessy's is a huge cut above; it's hard to rate Paradise! It's difficult to fathom how hard she works and the level of care & attention she pours into every single detail of her Paradise. Her garden is lovely, so you will awaken to the soft sounds of birds chirping away and singing. It is a haven of calm and beauty. A perfect place to spend a moment with yourself or your loved ones, and commune with nature. And if you are wise, you will ask Bessy for advice about the region, or anything else, and spend time chatting with her. I really can't say enough about how much I loved my stay here; my only regret is to not have stayed longer - at least a week! If you can only stay one or two nights though, absolutely do! The Plitivice Lakes National Park is very close by - a few km - and worth spending at least a day exploring. You will be thankful you stayed nearby if you do that, it's beautifully exhausting, especially in summer, but worth all the time you can allow. You will be extra grateful you decided to stay in Paradise, trust me! I already can't wait to go back!

It was such a great experience staying at Plitvice Valley Apartment. The apartment was very clean and accommodating for us. It has everything we needed. The outstanding view overlooking the mountains was also incredibly scenic and we enjoyed our morning and evening in this apartment. It’s also 15 min drive only to the Plitvice natural park which was perfect because we can come early in the morning to the park. We also want to highlight the communication of the owner, which was super! She messaged us with practical information prior to our arrival to make sure we got everything we needed. Also, she welcomed us very warmly and made us feel homey. I highly recommend everyone who are looking for an apartment in this area to stay here. Thank you for the warm welcome and very nice and clean apartment 😊

Modern, clean, lovely host and location near Plitvica lakes. Could park the car right next to the entrance, so convenient to carry luggages in and out.

The apartment was very spacious, and it had an outdoor lounge area. The kitchen is equipped with a stove and has pots and pans. The owners lived close and were lovely. The location is just a 15 minute drive away from Plitvice National Park and the neighbourhood is quiet

Very good location, 15min drive from Plitvickie Lakes National Park. Amazing hosts- very genuine and honest people, wery warm and welcoming. Lovely view from the balcony. Parking space on site. Quiet home with apartment on first floor. Very well equipped- there was everything we needed including stuff for cooking (spices, Oil, vinegar, tea, coffee etc), towels, soaps etc. I would definitely recommend to everyone who looks for a home-like place to stay and not a 5 star hotel. We enjoyed it.
