FAFEL LITTLE HOUSE - Quinta de Cravaz, a property with a bar, is set in Lamego, 1.4 km from Our Lady of Remedies Sanctuary, 16 km from Douro Museum, as well as 36 km from Natur Waterpark. This little house is just that, everything is there, but small. The way it is organized, however makes it very comfortable for a base of visiting the town. You can make your breakfast in the morning and take off to see the local sights and everything is close. You can actually see the top of the Sanctuary (with all the steps) from the windows. It is quiet and the bed is comfy. Our bus didn't leave till mid afternoon and the hosts let us stay an extra couple hours-thanks.

Featuring a rooftop pool and views of pool, Quinta dos Padrinhos - Suites in the Heart of the Douro is a recently renovated apartment set in Lamego, 5.7 km from Douro Museum. Very hostile senhora provided us with anything we need, prepared great breakfasts and was very cute. Good and spacious room. We very liked our stay.

Located 47 km from Douro Museum, Casa da Zéfinha, em Cinfães, no Douro offers air-conditioned accommodation with a patio. This was an absolutely fantastic apartment. It was very clean, and spacious. The bathroom was spacious, and there was great water pressure, with unlimited hot water. The house has a great view over the valley, and the town of cinfaes (Not the river though). The internet was excellent (fiber), and was at least 50mbps up/down, with 3ms latency. Our MEO sim card had excellent mobile phone reception here. The shutters on the windows were very good, and provided near total darkness for sleeping. We used the cooking facilities, which worked well, and all the basics plus some were provided (we used frying pan, cooking utensils, cutting boards, knives, seasonings, oil, plates, bowls, cups, etc). The hosts were friendly and helpful. They recommended we eat at the restaurant down the hill (Amados), where we had several excellent meals, and felt like we made a friend with Miguel (the owner).

Absolutely amazing place - huge room and bathroom, everything smelled lovely, really welcoming hosts with personal touches that made us feel at home. The apartment feels very private (it is almost detached from main house). Stunning location with views from the room over vineyards. Very quiet and peaceful and well equipped for cooking.

Set within 12 km of Douro Museum and 36 km of Natur Waterpark, The Castle House offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Lamego. The location was incredible. Right in the heart of the city by the Castle. The host was very accommodating and helpful. The room was spotless and beautifully done. Could not have asked for any better.

DouroXisto is set in Peso da Régua and features a pool with a view and pool views. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. An easy 4 km drive up into the hills near Peso da Regua, the apartment is a high-end renovation of a beautiful schist house. Stylishly decorated. The 1-bedroom apartment has everything you need and is perfect for even up to two couples because it has two bathrooms, so once the bedroom door is closed you have two private spaces. A filling and delicious breakfast was brought in a picnic basket each morning. Great view of the valley below and you can watch the sunset. Very good internet. Owner José and on-site Claudia are very friendly and helpful.

Dom Ruas is located in Peso da Régua, 2.7 km from Douro Museum, and provides a patio, garden, and free WiFi. With river views, this accommodation offers two balconies. Host, Luis, is easy to communicate with. the apartment is large and comfy. only suggestion to the host is to fix the shower. the pressure is to be desired and the hot water is instable, that is very annoying.

Outstanding, spacious beautiful and well maintained. The apartment is very comfortable, quiet very peaceful! The location is great only a few minutes from coffee shops, pizzaria and great restaurants, surrounded by beautiful architectural buildings!
