They arranged a nice, must visit, cheese making factory. The breakfast was excellent. Looking forward to our next trip. Thanks once again Paula and Marcia...you made our New Year Bright! First of all, let me mention extremely helpful host family who helped us find the place. One has to follow Solar de Maceira name in Google, and not its address, because the main entrance is not on that street. We really enjoyed the garden, pool, views, goats and sheep in the evening coming to graze, closeness to Sierra de Estrella...

Isabel is a very friendly host and is always available if you need support. The location is very convenient if you want to explore the Serra da Estrela region. Wi-fi worked pretty well if you are close to the router. Everything was very clean.
