He also picks up and drops off you and your belongings at the station if you come by bus (a good 3 hours from Montevideo). Right below the cabins lives a super nice shrimp fisherman. You can buy large, delicious shrimp from him for very little money. As you can see in the pictures, we ate many grilled steaks and large dishes of freshly boiled shrimp on the terrace. The beautiful sandy beach 100 meters down the road is a wonderful place to sunbathe and chill. The Atlantic Ocean is harsh, but with a little care, you can also easily swim. We will miss both Marasaias and Roy with the big heart.

Within just 2 metres of La Balconada, Las Olas Aparts is located in La Paloma and features sea view. My family loved this location-- right on the beach! Beautiful view and amazing beach-- you can walk for miles. Quiet and serene. We used two apartments and that gave us some great space and respite in the middle of our 12 day trip. Highly recommend this stay for beach relaxation and natural beauty.

Just 200 meters from Serena Beach, Aloe Village has a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and apartments with private sun deck areas. a wonderful place! very spacious and we had a big garden. the bed is super comfortable and in the kitchen is everything you need. i can definitely recommend this place!!!
