We had a phenomenal stay at Solar de St. André. We stayed for a week and were blown away by the standard of the accommodation and the fantastic hospitality. Eduarda and her team are brilliant and genuinely go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. We were always made to feel welcome and were even invited to a nearby concert, which was excellent. Marina deserves a special mention as she not only prepared fab breakfasts each morning, but gave us local advice, recommendations and just nice chit chat! Our room - the blue room - had everything we needed, super clean, well appointed and quiet. Comfortable bed. The hotel is like a museum, everything is charming and quaint but also modern and well-finished. Breakfast selection was always great, local produce and coffee always on hand . We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this place.

Was supposed to meet my sister here who was flying separately but my flight was cancelled. The staff was extremely nice and helpful during check in (despite reservation being in my name etc) and throughout the entire stay (helped order taxis, make recommendations, prepared a delicious to go breakfast for the early morning flight). Room was nice, everything was very clean, nice amenities(pool, gym), good location. Would definitely return!

Beautiful property, well stocked and comfortable as well. Host was very attentive. Would definitely stay here again if we came back! (it was fantastic to have nearby parking that was free, and Ponta Delgada was only a few minutes away. Very easy!)

The property was very easy to access from the main road around the island. Parking was available. A car is necessary but, in my opinion, a car is necessary on the island. The property had everything we needed. We were very lucky to have use of a washing machine!

We could not recommend Casa da Graca enough! It's central within a couple minutes walk of bars, restaurants and the Marina. The house is absolutely beautifully furnished to the highest standard. The bed, the pillows and the bedding is so comfortable and extremely good quality. Our bathroom was very spacious with a large walk in shower. Complimentary shampoo, shower gels and hand wash. Good lighting in the bathroom (which you don't find in most hotels). Good hair dryer with high voltage. A bottle of mineral water was supplied each day. The air conditioning was good and silent so if you wanted you could leave it on at night. The bedroom was lovely and airy, I was worried about the curtains being white however they have black outs (which really do keep off the light, if you not careful you can miss breakfast). Beach towels supplied. Breakfast was so well prepared by Sergio, fresh orange juice was a bonus and really good coffee! Sergio and Vania made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Each guest seems to be treated like royalty. Sergio helped us organise a car hire which was much cheaper than the places we got quoted. Extremely clean. Book your taxi through the Hotel! We will be returning and will definitely be staying at Casa da Graca.
