With river views, Ging Oya Lodge is situated in Waikkal and has a restaurant, room service, bar, garden, sun terrace and year-round outdoor pool. For us it was the perfect stay. The lodge is great to start or end your trip because it is close to the airport. In addition the staff is superfriendly, the rooms (own houses) are huge, it has a great pool and a beautiful garden area. We especially enjoyed the canoe tour on the river right next to the location, where you can visit water monitors and several birds.There is no charge to rent a canoe.

Situated in Kalpitiya and only 400 metres from Kudawa Beach, Sandy Edge features accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. The owner is the nicest guy, he is still building the place and soon gonna have more rooms. The hub has everything you need, simple but comfortable with a front sitting are, just like the photos. Breakfast is amazing, so good and very filling. We left our bags and came back for another couple of nights.

We stayed as a couple for 11 days in this beautiful cottage 1 minute from the beach. It is so quiet and you can relax and retreat very well. There is also a whale skeleton and several beaches are within walking distance. It is also a kitesurfing paradise and there are many donkeys here. You can easily cater for yourself, but there are also several restaurants nearby. The owners are next door and are happy to help at every opportunity. We would come back any time. :-)

This place is like an oasis in Sri Lanka! Proper and clean rooms and a really nice vibe, airconditioned as well. Also great place to dine, fresh fish and amazing food! The owner treated us well and was a great company to us. Great value for your money!

Dune Towers is a recently renovated guest house in Alankuda, where guests can make the most of its private beach area and garden. Exceptional building. Little remote location, but we have fully enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere in the garden and beach just for ourselves. Hundreds of dolphins during boat trip! Breakfast was superb.

Set just 1.2 km from Kammala Beach, holidays hotel offers accommodation in Dummaladeniya East with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. Totally exceeded our expectations! Even better than the photos and super friendly people treat you just like family. Such a clan and nicely decorated place and super comfortable beds, comforter and fluffy pillows on a soft bed. just what we needed! Also about as close as you can get to the rickshaw run start line so was a super location for us. No hot water but we didn’t even miss it.
