Underwhelmed at first, we quickly came to appreciate the features that made our stay in the Clare Valley memorable. Recommend a lunch or dinner at the Watervale Hotel. - 5 kilometres away. Walk the Reisling Trail and explore the history of Penwortham. or just cuddle up with a good book

Loved the exciting drive to the property, the serenity and isolation, the knick knacks to explore in the cottage, the gazebo was perfect for the cocktail hour. The breakfasts were generous (very delicious bacon) - way beyond our capacity to finish!

The breakfast wasn't required as we ate out. It was a lovely gesture. The location was somewhat difficult to find. More signage would have been helpful. Just amazing otherwise. 10/10
