I gave my mom a 7 night stay with her best friend in Vila Pedra Mar. She absolutely loves it . She adores the food, freshly made everyday. She loves the care and attention she got from the owners karien & Riann. She thought The place was extremely clean and very well taken care of. By what she described The place is incredibly peaceful and l she couldn't be happier to share that experience with her best friend. Thank you Karien and Riann for giving mom the best time ever. I can't recommend this place enough! ❤️

Literally a DREAM. My fiance and I came for a 5 day getaway and fell in love with praia vermhelha and were so happy with the pousada. The view, the location, yummy breakfast -paradise. Be prepared with bug spray but this is the place of dreams.

Wonderful stay at this family run accommodation. It was clean, the service impeccable, and just wonderful local people who deeply care about their guests and their island. The breakfasts were also delicious.

It was a Robinson Crusoe experience, although with airco and wifi. There is not much to do except beach life, scubadiving or trekking though the tropical forest and hills. Owner Luciana (speaks English well) and her staff go out of their way to make you feel at home. Get a room with sea view, it's worth it. You can pay by debit card everywhere on the island. There are no ATM's.

Really comfortable stay. Very good breakfast. The hosts are very kind and helpful, making sure I arrive ok and I get the most of the island.

Ulvi and Vahur Eistland

Breakfast was excellent, with fresh fruits and juice. Simone, Maria and Jessica were very helpful. We had very nice stay. Our bungalow in top of hill had super nice view from windows directly to rainforest. Keep in mind that you have to walk up the stairs, but it's worth it! Great place.

Even before I had arrived on Ilha Grande, Fernanda would always help me out with any questions I had regarding the island, with the boats and tours etc. She picked me up from the pier and from the first second on I felt happy - the room was filled with light and had an amazing view from the balcony with the hammock. It was very clean and towels etc were provides, which were changed on a regular basis! :) And: the breakfast - oh it was fabulous. There was fresh fruit, cakes, scrambled eggs, coffee, freshly squeezed juices, different kinds of bread, jam, cream cheese, butter, good coffee, joghurt and cereals - she even made me tapioca on the last day (delicious!). It was always enough to keep me full until dinner (food is very expensive on the island!). Thank you, Fernanda, you were an amazing host :)

Well, actually I dont give reviews BUT this place deserves it. Great view! Great and super friendly staff. Helped me where ever they could. They tried to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Breakfast was so various and delicious, too. I cant be thankfull enough. They treated me very nicely and warm. I can truley recommend this place.
