By the way, it would be great to add a hairdryer. Excellent kitchen with all the utensils for preparing breakfast, lunch or dinner. Coffee machine, tea and coffee. Everything is organized and clear. The units in the bed and breakfast are fitted with a kettle. At the bed and breakfast, all units have bed linen and towels. This was a wonderful experience and next time we will stay longer! Warm welcome, help with luggage and getting settled, wine and cheese on the deck with a beautiful view ! And, help with restaurant choice for dinner, and ideas for a great nearby hike, and the beach. The following morning, a fabulous breakfast to send us on our way !

A microwave, a toaster and fridge are also featured, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. At the guest house, the units come with bed linen and towels. The unit is on the ground floor of a house, not a basement which made it an amazing find. The windows face the backyard which made it feel a little extra private and cozy. I loved that the kitchen had everything we needed cuz we prefer to cook our own meals when we travel, so it was important for us. Big and comfortable bed is an extra plus. A nice extra touch were the complementary sweet and savory snacks and bottles water, which was very welcoming after a long trip. The house is in a very lovely neighborhood in Vancouver with public transport availability within walking distance.

Salish B&B and Spa is located in West Kelowna and features a pool with a view and lake views. The bed and breakfast provides a spa experience, with its hot tub, spa facilities and wellness packages. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. We were two Australian couples travelling through Kelowna with a rental car. Our preference was to be in a quiet area and drive to the sites we wished to visit. Salish B&B is in West Kelowna on a hillside set amongst a few small farmlets and other homes. Our hosts. Alfonso and Michelle were friendly and welcoming and we felt at home instantly. Rooms were well appointed and beds so comfortable, everything was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was continental with lots of choices, a cooked breakfast was available at a small additional fee. Seating for breakfast afforded views of the lake. It was a bonus to have a sitting room for reading, relaxing or enjoying the views. Michelle offers beauty services, unfortunatley we did not have time to enjoy them this visit. There are some great vineyards and resturants within 5- 15 minutes drive of the B&B, we will return to Salish if the opportunity arises to visit the area again.

Guests at the bed and breakfast can enjoy a continental or an American breakfast. Beautiful house. Stayed in the Bosc room. Nicely decorated. James provided a wonderful continental breakfast. Homemade bread! Homemade jam! Big pot of coffee! The muesli was nice served with fresh fruit, yoghurt and a dash of coconut. James also gave excellent suggestions for our one night in Kelowna. Went for a swim and then to the lakeside for a nice dinner. Situated in a beautiful neighbourhood filled with other heritage homes.

Chris is an amazing host and had answers or solutions to any of our travel questions. Can’t say enough good things about our stay here and will be recommending it to anyone planning a trip in the area.

Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design is 3.7 km from the bed and breakfast, while Granville Island Ferry Dock is 3.7 km away. The nearest airport is Vancouver Coal Harbour Seaplane Base Airport, 6 km from Vancouver Traveller B&B. Very nice house, lovely hosts. Breakfast was excellent and shared with other guests which always led to good conversations. The room is fairly small, but absolutely sufficient. We had a really good time and fully recommend the B&B
