The oceanside property is fitted with five suites and two bungalows in total, each one with private bathroom facilities and private entrance. Some of them have ocean view and private terrace. Rooms at Hotel Boutique La Perouse are set up as double rooms but may be changed to become triple rooms upon request. Room with a gorgeous view of the water. I loved sitting outside on my lanai. Breakfast was plentiful. My room was spotless and very comfortable.

The hosts Francisco and Sonia were very welcoming and helpful, they did their very best to make my stay very comfortable, also to advise and make connections for guided tours (you need to have a guide and a Park Permit to go to the archeological sites). The hostal is very centrally located in the town area, but is very quiet within its own substantial garden. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfasts are great. Highly recommended !

A recently renovated guest house located in Hanga Roa, Hostal Makohe Rapa Nui features a garden. This guest house provides free private parking, free shuttle service and free WiFi. The accommodation features a shared kitchen, full-day security and luggage storage for guests. Everything! This is a lovely place to stay on Rapa Nui. You are a short stroll to the center of town, to the Ahu Tahai and the ocean. Carlos and Pamela are the most gracious hosts. They will make you feel welcome and can help arrange tours, etc. You really could not ask for better hosts. The rooms are very nice and super clean, and have a small fridge. . My bed was so comfortable. The shared kitchen is spacious and clean and well equipped. There is a living room to hang out in and a nice backyard. Hostal Makohe, in my opinion, is really a step up from the usual hostal.

The units provide views of the garden and come with a washing machine, a fully equipped kitchenette with a microwave, and a private bathroom with a hair dryer and free toiletries. A toaster, a fridge and stovetop are also featured, as well as a kettle. At the bed and breakfast, the units are fitted with bed linen and towels. The place was clean and comfortable. Excellent location. Restaurants, shops, supermarkets and cafes are only a minute away by foot. Pathy, the hostess, was awesome. She was a big help for information about Rapa Nui. Free transport to and from the airport, which is 3 minutes away by car. You can walk to the waterfront in about 8 minutes. Tour agencies, Internet cafe, and other services are located on the same street (the main street) as the lodge. Kahina Lodge... highly recommended.
