We sat in the breakfast room and watched the boats go by. we also enjoyed the pub right downstairs for food and drinks.

Rooms v modern an up to date. Never saw so many electric sockets in a bedroom. All the sheep references. ... ewe have to smile at the legends on the toilet doors. RAMS and EWES. And breakfast menu quotes the Full flock for the fry.

No problems with parking, which is very secure and it's a good location to catch the steam train from Pickering to Whitby.
