While it looks far from the center, there are lots of busses all the time and I prefer to sleep somewhere quiet. The gardens are lovely, flocks of parrots come through every morning and the breakfast is good. While it's on a side street, there are plenty of Moto-taxis that pass by if you don't want to take the bus.

Nothing like waking up to the sunrise over the river. Chip was an excellent host and very helpful when it came to tips for what to do, where to go and what to expect for my jungle adventure.

The rooms are very clean, with a fan and private bathroom. I think this is the nicest bathroom we have seen in South America. It was a comfortable and peaceful stay, safe. Nice place, we would come back again.

En ik had trek in pizza en ook dat word geregeld. De familie is super aardig en vriendelijk en helpen je met alles of het een vlucht is om te boeken of eten nodig heb ze staan voor je klaar. Een echte aanrader bedankt voor de fijne gastvrijheid. Fijn bed. Goede douche. Ramen kunnen open. En het is er stil wat ik heel fijn vond.

The hostel is in a beautiful traditional house at about 1/2 hour walk from the center (beware of motortaxi drivers who will tell you all sorts of lies to convince you to go to another hotel of their choice so they can get a commission). The room, living room and kitchen are new and well organized and equipped. Sarisa is a wonderful host who will help you in any way and can advise you about tours in the jungle, etc.
