We walked around the local square and the opera house. There is a wonderful outdoor market a few blocks away on Sunday. We were here prior to a boat cruise. When I came back heat shocked and burned because our boat got stuck in quicksand, they went to the pharmacy for me to get medicine. They are honestly the nicest. Also this is definitely the best budget for central Manaus. They have air conditioning, the rooms are safe, it’s not a fancy American chain hotel, instead they arrange everything with so much love…

Working with us and Google translate. They also specially cleaned and gave us our room early as we had arrived on the early boat from Tabatinga at 5am that morning. The room was also perfectly decent for the price we paid as we are trying to stick to a budget. It is also close to the port and the centre of the city if you are arriving in Manaus that way. It also has Aircon which is a must in Manaus

However, the owner will arrange a pick-up directly from the airport.
