Offering a garden and city view, Villa Muralto Rooms & Garden is set in Locarno, 6 km from Golfclub Patriziale Ascona and 37 km from Lugano Station.

The host was very nice and always helpful, the house is beautifully outfitted and always clean. The garden which was well kept and had lovely lawn chairs completed the nice atmosphere. From the balcony you could see the lake and the breakfast was simple but of high quality.

Casa Franceschini, allotjament vacacional a Locarno

Offering lake views, Casa Franceschini is set in the Orselina district of Locarno, 1.8 km from Piazza Grande Locarno and 8.3 km from Golfclub Patriziale Ascona.

This place was very comfortable with beautiful views! It was rainy part of the time but we had plenty of room for the four of us, with a comfortable couch in the living room and a table to play cards. The view from the deck, which also had a table, was amazing. Helpful hosts downstairs. We took the bus from the train station and then figured out which steps (not a huge amount) to walk up and our host saw us and gave us the keys and a tour. Cooked a basic dinner one night in the kitchen. It was nice to have the coffee machine and pods there, as it made excellent coffees. Also a nice selection of teas.

Sabrina, Dalila and the rest of the staff made us feel so welcome and taken care of. We were there for our honeymoon and they went out of their way to make it extra special for us. We felt relaxed, at ease, and easily could have stayed longer. This place is perfect for a romantic getaway, as was evidenced by the many couples we saw there. Spectacular views, beautiful rooms, excellent breakfast every morning. Can't recommend it enough!

Residenza Motta, allotjament vacacional a Locarno

The Residenza Motta is a romantic Ticino house with a green Mediterranean courtyard in the heart of Old Town of Locarno, near the Piazza Grande and the Visconti Castle.

The location is right in the middle of the central piazza area, very close walk to the station and easy to get to bus lines and the ferry. I loved my room, with one side facing into the beautiful private courtyard and the other overlooking the cute shopping street outside. Very nice kitchen, comfortable furniture. Barbara and Urs were so helpful in giving me advice about my trains, and very friendly and warm (comfortable communicating in English). I had my own table in the courtyard. Although there were other guests it stayed very quiet (doesn’t seem to be a party district) and I slept well every night. I would very happily stay here again in the future.
