Our time at House in the Castle was dreamy, and magical... It was hard to leave the huge private balcony that overlooked the sea and we planned our days around sunsets, sunrises and stargazing. We thought the location had to be the best in all of Monemvasia. The space had everything we needed and the bed was very comfortable and cozy. To top it all off, our hosts were so incredibly kind and greeted us very late after our travel plans had changed. The delicious sweets, fruit and wine that they left for us were delicious and greatly appreciated.

Lovely room, and a very charming owner, who met us at the entrance of the island town and guided us to our room which wasn't far from the entrance. The room is beautiful and tastefully decorated, with a sea view and right on the main street near excellent restaurants. The bed was super comfortable, the air conditioner was superb, and we had an enjoyable time exploring Monemvasia. The owner took special care to help us with our luggage on the day that we left. Highly recommend.

After driving through what might say a little bit run down villages it was unbelievable experience to arrive at this oasis. Everything was so beautiful, the food and staff impeccable! The only tiny thing which i thing I did not like was the English pop-music played in the restaurant. The whole of the Monemvasia village was perfect and very picturesque. We tried out the fantastic restaurants and were delighted by the local cuisine and friendly, helpful service. The bars were also great and all had amazing outlooks! Walking around was like a dream and we even had a quick dip where you could access the sea. The local museum was wonderful too. We loved it all!
