First of all the location is awsome... at the end of the Island, at the end of village, at the end of the road. The view is so nice, 24h wind in your face and wave-sounds in the ears. The traditional style of the house impressed me most. Also the outside grill makes a stay there so beautiful. Absolutely perfect. Located in the charming parish of Calheta, this wonderful accommodation exceeded our expectations and we had everything we needed to enjoy our week on Pico with our 1.5-year-old toddler. We were amazed by the landscape with banana and fig trees, along with the stunning views from the house. While using the binoculars, we spotted dolphins and a whale. In the evening, as we sat outside to listen to the ocean and look at the clear starry night sky, we were lucky enough to spot several shooting stars – a truly unforgettable experience.
