Staying at Suwa Villa Arenal was a highlight of our trip and our favorite accommodation in Costa Rica. Hands down, it had some of the most thoughtful design and architecture we came across, reflecting the owner's expertise as an architect. You can tell it was built with care. For the price, it’s really good value. It felt like we got a lot for what we paid. The owners were friendly and down-to-earth, and the staff had the same genuine vibe. Everyone was keen to help without it ever feeling overbearing. Communication-wise, they were on the ball. Quick to respond and clear in their answers. Plus, they had some handy tips on activities and pointed us to some neat local spots to eat and shop. All in all, Suwa Villa Arenal felt like a great find. It’s a place that combines smart design with a real personal touch. Would definitely recommend to stay there when visiting La Fortuna.

Boasting garden views, Jordi´s House features accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 7 km from Kalambu Hot Springs. Host provided very good info and pictures how to find a house. Air conditioning in both bedrooms was great.

Featuring a garden and views of mountain, Bungalow Batsù is a recently renovated apartment set in Fortuna, 17 km from La Fortuna Waterfall. Lovely place, very clean. Pure nature around. Nice and helpful owners. Worth every penny. Delicious breakfasts served by owners who are very friendly and helpfull with attraction organization around La Fortuna.

The owner was a very nice man who welcomed us in a special way on arrival. Thank you. The accomodations are 'tents' but very comfortable. Daily breakfast was very good. Generally, continental, but you are offered scrambled or fried eggs cooked to order. Pool area is very nice. Beautiful grounds.

AMAZING experience, coming here, is like experiencing the real Costa Rica. The staff was amazing, Johnny made sure we had the best time! The food was very good as well, we were 2 vegans and we always had plenty to eat. The location is far, yes, but that's what this place is all about. We saw all types of animals, and it gave us the most peaceful experience to be surrounded by so much nature.

Excelent breakfast with birdwatching and view of the landscape. Very quiet, save and relaxing. Surrounded by nice rainforest.

Located just 27 km from La Fortuna Waterfall, Sunset Inn provides accommodation in Fortuna with access to an open-air bath, a garden, as well as a shared kitchen. The sunset in was an incredible glamping experience for us in Costa Rica. We loved waking up to the sounds of howler monkeys and birds, and the amazing sunrise view against the volcano. Our host was incredibly friendly, and made a delicious breakfast.
