This B&B was very relaxing, clean and comfortable and has a beautiful large garden. One of the highlights was Carlos who is a wonderful host and chef cook! The breakfast was delicious and we even managed to spot some toucans from our breakfast table. We would recommend this place to anyone.

Lucky Bug is a fantastic place to stay, we had a great time there. Monika and Rob are brilliant hosts, so helpful and made us feel so welcome. Lucky Bug is in a beautiful setting with small lake and rain forest all around and the rooms are lovely and comfortable. Eating on the terrace over looking the lake is a great spot to eat and the food is really good - great breakfast every day! Would thoroughly recommend Lucky Bug.

Lakeview Arenal 1 Bed Suite, Communal Pool & Gym - 2024 Traveller Awards Winner ligger i Tronadora, blot 43 km fra Sky Adventures Monteverde. We had such a great stay, we even extended it for one more day. It‘s a great property to stay in, very quiet with just nature around. The club house offers a lot of on top activities, such as table tennis, billiards, on some mornings you can even find a breakfast service. You can also book a massage (I recommend). The pool is absolutely fantastic! The hosts made us feel very welcome. They furnished the house with very much love and with best quality equipment (we have not experienced anywhere else in Costa Rica). Thank you Chris and Maricela, it was a pleasure to meet you and stay at your place!

Vulkan Arenal Amazing View Lodge 4 WD ligger i El Castillo de la Fortuna i Alajuela-regionen, tæt på Arenal Eco Zoo. We loved almost everything about this place. We were looking for somewhere quiet and secluded with amazing views. And we couldn’t have found anywhere better on all three counts. Idyllic.

Really "in the sky", all around only nature, no view of houses. Very good for birdwatching, toucans come by daily and hummingbirds are everywhere. There is an observation platform. You can see the volcano and Lake Arenal from everywhere on the property and the many armchairs grouped around the house. The people from the agency are very friendly and helpful. We missed some things in the kitchen and bedside lamps, everything was done immediately. You have to know that there are three units on the property. In addition to the large house with four bedrooms (which we rented), there is a (very) small unit in a kind of garden house for 2 people and another house with 2 bedrooms.

Be prepared for a unique experience…the shower had ornate ceiling with plants growing inside and up above. Breakfast was served “family style” and the owner/chef engaged with his guests. The beds were very comfortable and everything was clean. Surrounded by lush forest!
