Medalin lake was perfect for the purpose of our stay. we stayed one night in Nuwara Eliya to take the morning train to Ella. Navashka and her family are amazing, they welcome you with a beautiful smile and caring about everything you need. breakfast was great and the view from the balcony was beautiful facing Gregory lake. very recommended:)

Cabana is truly amazing, every little detail is thought through. Gorgeous bathroom, with bathtub overlooking the little town and the mountains. Facilities- top class! Better than some 5* Hotels. But all of that would be nothing, without amazing Host, who met us with a biggest smile and was there every time we needed something. Food set up, quality is out of this world. Clean simple rooms and an excellent location. The host is very helpful and quick to respond to any questions I had via text. I can’t imagine a better location. We were able to walk to dinner at the Grand hotel in about 5 mins and the view from the outdoor seating area was excellent!

Warm arrival with a hot or cold drink, great atmosphere created by amazing staff. Breakfast was beautiful, if you get a chance eat your dinner at the accommodation, it was our best meal of the trip. Wish we stayed longer.

Boasting garden views, woods hut features accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 4.4 km from Gregory Lake. The host wasnatha and his wife chitra were perfect. He came and explained all sightseeing places. His wife chitra even offered us to see how she cooks srilankan food. Everyone must try chitra special sandwich.
