Set in Bhaktapur, 12 km from Patan Durbar Square, HOTEL RUPAKOT AND ROOFTOP RESTAURANT features accommodation with spa facilities. The breakfast was excellent, with a view over the whole city from the roof. The location was in the city center, right inside the old city within a very short walking distance from all the main places. The staff is caring and takes care of every need, they provide toilet paper and water when needed, and advise on tours in the area. All in all, a place with a very pleasant atmosphere, spacious rooms and a very fair value for the price.

Situated in Kathmandu, 200 metres from Hanuman Dhoka, Studio Apartment at UNESCO Heritage Site features recently renovated accommodation with free WiFi and a terrace. Exceptional location. You live surrounded by a history of Nepal. Very nice and helpful hosts. Highly recommend!

With garden views, Sunrise Point Homestay is situated in Nagarkot and has a restaurant and room service. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the homestay free of charge. My stay at Sunrise Point exceeded my expectations. The private rooms are huge and you get a double bed and private bathroom with a hot efficient shower. The views from the room are breathtaking, you can see the Himalayas, and are incredible at sunrise, it feels like you are living in the clouds. The rooms are set in their own area away from the family home so it's very peaceful and private so you can have plenty of solitude in the quiet mountains, but it felt very homely and special to join the family and eat in the communal area, having each meal cooked fresh with ingredient from the farm. The family all care about their guests so much always making sure they have the best time. Staying here is such a special experience to live close to a local family to learn from them about their farm, the passion for a happy life, their culture and traditions.

Wonderful, affordable accommodation somewhat off the beaten path in Kathmandu. Sugat and family are very kind, gracious and eminently helpful hosts and went the extra mile to help me arrange transportation and such. Clean and spacious property. Amazing deal for the price!

Yamba Traditional Home, a property with a shared lounge, is set in Pātan, 6.5 km from Hanuman Dhoka, 6.8 km from Kathmandu Durbar Square, as well as 7.8 km from Pashupatinath. The property is a few minutes walk from Durbar square. Although the hotel was doing building work they let us stay. We were not troubled by the work and the hotel owner was extremely friendly. The hotel is in a narrow street with not much traffic, just the occasional motorbike (unlike other streets nearby which are full of bikes), and therefore relatively quiet given its situation in the middle of the city. We would not hesitate to stay again.

The location was fantastic and the heritage features made it feel really special. The garden/dining area was peaceful and well landscaped. The new staff member Aashish was amazing and couldn’t do enough to help me and make some great recommendations about places to visit.
