The location is amazing, close to all the points of interest, shops and bars. Especially good if you don’t rent a car. The rooms and common areas were very spacious.

He is very friendly, helpful and made us feel very welcome. He goes out of his way to make sure we had everything we need and even provided us with a printed guide/itinerary. We will definitely come back here the next time we are in Sao Miguel

Vila Emigrante has sea views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Capelas, 6.9 km from Pico do Carvao. The air-conditioned accommodation is 15 km from Sete Cidades Lagoon. Diana, as a Host was extremely efficient, accommodating and kind hearted Host. She was very easy to communicate with and was prompt in replying. Her directions to the location were amazing and she walked me through the cabin and and the grounds to make sure I had everything I needed to make my stay comfortable. She even left a lovely gift basket of local treats which was very thoughtful and showed how proud she is of her home country and wants to share that with her guests. Very, very special. The cabin location was amazing with a great view of the village and the ocean with a lovely outdoor covered veranda to sit and eat and take in the view. The kitchen was efficient and well stocked with all you needed to have morning tea or coffee and to cook and make a meal. It was extremely clean and the beds were very comfortable. At night you could sit out, even in the rain and watch the sunset and in the morning have coffee and watch the sunrise. The Village has some great sights to take in as well as being a great location to drive to other areas with lots of great scenery along the way. The people in the Village are so lovely and social and make you feel like you are part of the community. There are a few local cats and they were the gentlest and sweetest and would come by for visits which was quite nice during the evenings. I highly recommend it for single travelers, couples, and or families.

Featuring pool with a view and views of sea, The Homeboat Company Ponta Delgada-Açores is a recently renovated boat located in Ponta Delgada, 13 km from Pico do Carvao. Breakfast great. Expect some swell in the harbour, which might be a nuisance for those sensitive to it.

A recently renovated country house situated in Furnas, Furnas Spring Lodge features a garden. Very cute place! Great location, walking distance to shops & restaurant. The kitchen was very nice to have and we ended up cooking breakfast and even dinner one night. Would stay here again!
