I travel alot for work and have spent many a night in wonderful hotels around the world. I have never stayed in accommodation which makes you feel more comfortable and at home than this place thanks to its lovely lay out and even lovelier hosts.

Stayed 2 nights to attend a wedding at a nearby venue. The tents were luxuriously fitted out and beds were comfortable (with electric blankets!). Breakfast food was provided (eggs, English muffins, fruit, juice, milk and spreads) and much appreciated. We could hear kiwis in the bush at night which was cool! The hosts were easy to contact and gave detailed instructions on check in.

We were welcomed by the lovely Catherine. Showed to our apartment,what a stunning view and amazing sunsets!.. A very well set out apartment. A few special touches like white robes to wear, hot tub with a view and little chocolates in the fridge for each of us. Our hosts could not have done more for us, even bringing in our washing one day when it started to rain...if We get back to Russell one day, we will definitely look up Bellrock....thanx Cathrine and Stuart.

My family & I love staying here especially the kids as they have a pool & a hot tub. I love the family unit as I can cook meals which saves eating out. Comfortable beds, lovely hot shower & sky sports which is great for hubby.

The view was terrific, great to use the BBQ on the verandah while enjoying the view. Lots of steps which could be bothersome but not for us, just beware. A handy lift for the luggage was appreciated. The steps enable you to gain the height for the view!

Enjoyed our stay a lot - loved the view and the atmosphere on the terrace. The sunrises were awesome! The cottage had also everything that is needed. Happy that we choosed this place! Thanks for a great stay to the owners! For dinner: try tipsy oyster in Paihia - very delicious food options! For a lovely sail on an Katamaran choose Carino Wildlife Cruises - lovely Team and vibe!

It’s been a while since I had been to the Duke and he is beautiful.Full of memories and great art. We had dinner on the veranda as the sunset and a guitar played. Doesn’t get much better than that. The staff were pleased to see us and very professional
