The place is extraordinary, at the heart of a very quiet and peaceful land of forest, with a nice view on the sea. I really recommend the chocolate tour where you can taste the chocolate of the farm in (almost) unlimited quantities. For gourmands only!

Everything about this place is beautiful, from the views to the rooms, we loved every moment of our stay here. Julia was so lovely and made us feel so welcome as soon as we arrived. One of the most relaxing places we have stayed in Colombia. The perfect place to watch sunrise. 100% recommend!

Offering sea views, Finca Cuipo in Buritaca offers accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a terrace.

The nearest airport is Simón Bolívar International, 69 km from Finca Cuipo, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service.

What makes this place so great, as so many have alluded to, is Fiona and Helmut - lovely, hospitable hosts who do everything they can to make you feel welcome. Loved the breakfasts and Helmut’s cooking in the evening was excellent too. The location is just magnificent and the views from the Finca and from the poolside are unforgettable - banana trees, jungle and the beautiful coastline. It is a rustic place but with lots of beautiful touches and a great spot from which to totally unwind and escape - though we also used it as a base to explore nearby Tayrona National Park and Palomino, both short bus rides away from the bottom of the hill. Thank you guys for sharing your slice of paradise with us, we miss it already!

Looking for a cabin?

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

This was an incredible hostel! The views were incredible and the staff very accommodating. We stayed in the shared dorm the first night and then a private cabin the second. I would definitely recommend trying for a private cabin as it was so picturesque and like something out of a movie! Natalia at reception was very helpful and helped us with our transport. Kenet in the bar was very very nice! He went above and beyond to try and make the stay as good as possible for us and has great music taste!

The private beach and little huts are lovely and this is a great version of a hostel if this is what you are looking for. The activities they put on are great especially the yoga class which was in a lovely spot on the beachfront

The views here are absolutely stunning but you have to earn them. You basically have to hike up a steep hill for 20 minutes to get to your room. The rooms are huge cabins. Nice cargo net to take photos on.

This is an exceptional property. Beautiful, unique (and hand built) cabin in a beautiful and unique setting. From the room you can see jungle, banana tree farms and the ocean all in one. Polo is a fantastic host and an incredibly gifted chef. His dinner and breakfast were next level, and the chocolate from the farm made this stay an even more delicious and memorable 24hrs. Very clean and high quality.

A lovely place to unwind and just relax in the bosom of the jungle! This is a place to come recharge and chill after the hectic cities. Beautiful little open face cabin tucked on a hillside. Yes, you’ll be sleeping outside. Take ear plugs as the jungle comes alive at night. Clean and good beds with mozzie nets. Yes, it’s a steep hill to get here, but if you are a healthy adult you can do it, it’s worth the view. Take a book and sit on the infinity hammock chill the world away. Loved it.
