The house was clean, tidy, well presented and had everything we needed for our two night stay. The person I was messaging with was very quick at replying and couldn't have been more helpful The view out on the lake from the back of the house was beautiful. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily rebook next time we come to the area. Thank you for a great stay

the apartment was very modern, and spacious, we knew that this was a lovely place because we started thinking about how we could renovate our own home with the same style and lighting, the Host was excellent in terms of communication, we had asked if we could check in slightly earlier and he done his utmost best to make that happen, so we are thankful. also was a perfect location 5min drive away from the centre of Birmingham, and takeaway and off licence shops open locally until 3am in the morning.

Looking for a cabin?

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

On arrival the place was eveything you could want however the heater below the window wouldn’t work and was lose , there was no plug or bowl to fill dishes to wash, the blind on the front door was broken and the cords had been tied together so wasn’t able to shut it for privacy Did Inform at the time On leaving the instruction for the bins were such that there was no E on the key pads to find the bins so had to bring them home with me

I was pleasantly surprised when I entered the room. There were two separate rooms with a door that could be shut in the middle so both of us still had our privacy. The price I paid was extremely good value for money compared to other hotel chains around the area.

Great location. Was less noisy (with the windows shut) than the reviews suggest. Needs some TLC work, a plug that fits the sink, the shower dribbles, repair work that has been done looks rough, especially in the bathroom. Nice and spacious. Communal areas not great, but not terrible either. If you need a place right in the centre, it does the job.

Friendly staff. The room and the bathroom were both clean and the place seemed to be well looked after. The double bed was comfortable enough though would be a little narrow if there are two of you! The room (No.6) overlooks the road but the double glazed window units seal well and shut out almost all of the traffic noise.

great location for my needs on the weekend, unfortunately due too the very warm weather the hotel rooms were like basically oven’s, if I’d of cracked open an egg on my bedside cabinet it would have cooked, this hotel needs a complete change and makeover! it needs air conditioning units installed, and also needs a kitchen as it doesn’t even serve a breakfast, still living in Victorias era unfortunately, I wouldn’t stay there again even if it was for free.

Rooms are like motel chalets so you get your own front door. Check in very simple, and we were allowed to check in early.

We didn't get breakfast as the chef was having an off day! After waiting over half an hour we walked out. We asked the staff where our order was and were told the kitchen had shut and chef was having a bad day.
