a wonderful family and well organized from the start.Very nice place with a great view of the beautiful mountains.It was made with love from a very helpful and friendly family.The rice and curry we ordered for dinner was the best we have ever had in all of Sri Lanka.Mom.Good at cooking! The next early morning, a lovely hike to the rainforest of Sinharaja, with a great sunrise and very nice views.We felt like part of the family as well as guests... Thank you very much for a very nice stay.I'll see you again..

What a privilege to spend time in the rainforest. Amazing location right by the waterfalls, learned so much on our walks both with Janith and with the guide ($45 per person for the rainforest trek). Food on the expensive side for Sri Lanka but worth it as so delicious and all grown and produced on site. Highly recommended for all nature lovers and those looking to escape the tourist trails of Sri Lanka!

The Location was great and so close to the entrance of Sinharaja rain forest 🌳 The room were clean and had a nice view to the mountains and paddy fields . Specially the food was amazing 🤩 and the mother of the owner was so kind and good person she made me feel like That I stayed in my home with my mother ❤️🙏🏻 as well as she cooks yummy Sri Lankan food that you can try in this place ! I’m definitely gonna stay here again 💯 highly recommend this place

This place is like a dream. You sit on your own balcony surrounded by views of rain forest, mountain tops, birds in all colours. The extremely friendly host family prepares tasty sri lankan food, offer you fruits from their own garden - they have ALL sorts of interesting fruits depending on season. They show you around their tea plantage and all in all just makes you feel good. The cabana (cottage) has all basics and is very clean. This is not luxury, but I personally didn't miss anything. My best recommendations!

Beautiful room with a breathtaking view! The owners and staff are so kind. The tour of Sinharaja park that she arranged for us was great as well. Food is mostly homemade vegetarian curries, but they have a small menu and will make you other food if you ask. Such a peaceful place to recharge and just spend time in a beautiful, serene location.
