The host, Johan, was really nice and hospitable and the location itself was lovely as it was remote and allowed us to gaze up at the aurora without light pollution getting in the way. Unfortunately I believe those were the only two reasons I was not entirely disappointed with my choice.

We stayed in this wonderful cosy cabin with a view on the lake which was frozen and we could ice skate on it 😍. We loved everything about our stay. Location, cleanliness, the sauna, the views, the hospitality. Cecilia made us feel at home and is such a lovely person and fun person to be around with. She provided us the best service and knowledge on the area. She even called us when we were out, to let us know the Aurora Borealis was shining outside. We were SO SO happy to experience this, it was also magic to see it from the cabin. Sleeping under the Northern lights was a dream come true. Definitely recommending to stay here! Thank you so much Cecilia. We made memories for a lifetime 🙏🏻❤️

The chalet was private and compact and just what we were looking for. It was very safe and in a great safe walkable area and also was relatively close to the city centre. It was equipped with everything we needed and made for a perfect Xmas holiday. Kiruna was snowy and beautiful and gave us our first "White Xmas.

The staff was really friendly and approachable. They have been very helpful whenever we have problems. On the day of our snowmobile northern light tour, there was a heavy snow which results in us not able to catch the northern light. However, Adrian still went all the way up to the mountain in order to provide us with the best experience. The dinner in tipi before the tour was really delicious and we had the chance to talk to other travellers from other countries during dinner time. Aside from that, the home-cooked dinner in the lodge itself was exceptional! I am really in love with the dessert. Lastly, the room is on a smaller side but it's really cosy.
