Riobamba is 36 km away. from the moment we arrived (even before) the entire experience was exceptional. Lised in Riobamba guided us to the lodge as Google Maps sent us on a wild goose chase. Upon arrival, Leandro was there to help us with our bags and get us installed in our room. when we arrived to the dining hall, he had a beautiful fire going in the fireplace. After serving us a beer, he and his team prepared a delicious tilapia dinner with fresh veggies and dulce de babaco for dessert. Couldn't have been better. Breakfast in the morning was equally as good and the staff was totally friendly and accommodating the decoration of the dining hall was fantastic with all kinds of climbing paraphernalia lots and lots of wood. we had a spectacular view of Chimborazo

Set in Cotopaxi National Park, 6 km from the entrance, Chilcabamba Lodge has comfortable rooms charming with rustic-style décor. We stayed for 4 nights and it was just amazing. The Lodge was absolutely beautiful and the staff very nice. Our room was beautiful and cozy. It has a fireplace which was lovely. The ladies in the kitchen were brilliant! The food was excellent. They offer very cool activities.

This holiday home offers free private parking, a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. the best value for the price. we had everything we needed there and more. it’s a place where you want to stay for a week not a night like we did. the kitchen fully equipped, three bedrooms, two bathrooms (one with hot water), tomato de árbol on a tree, nice setting. it’s a bit off from Nanegalito but you can easily walk down and come back with a camioneta for 2 usd. last but not least, hosts are super kind and helpful. highly recommended!
