Cabin was perfect and location is amazing to see northern lights. Also they greatly informed us for activities and everything . I hope we can visit again in next year .

It was warm inside even when -25C outdoors. Well equipped kitchen, big TV with Netflix. We could watch northers lights directly from terrace.

Located in Kilpisjärvi in the Lapland region, Saivaara Cottages has a balcony and lake views. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. We traveled in mid december and were mesmerized by the snow covered landscape all around. The traditional wooden house is very aesthetically designed, has a fully equipped kitchen with an electric sauna inside the bathroom. One is treated to stunning views right from the windows. The location is quite central (all essential facilities like the gas station, grocery store, restaurants etc. are within 2mins of driving distance) yet perfectly peaceful and quiet. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We stayed for 3 nights and were lucky to see the northern lights from the apartment itself.

Also liked that you could see mostly trees from the windows, although the house is next to the street (the street itself is really quiet though). Very friendly owners!
