Ecolodge Jua Bahari ligger i den lilla staden Timboni, bara 2 km från stranden Watamu. Boendet omges av palmer och har en utomhuspool och en restaurang. Rummen är inredda i afrikansk stil. It's an oasis of rest like a small paradise. Really friendly staff help you with everything. Agnes the Hostess is really kind and nice,she will let you feel as a queen or king. The swimming pool is super too and the breakfast and dinner was delicious and not to forget the homemade banana cake,mjummie. Also the rooms are great and they clean all the time for you It was in one word,FANTASTIC!Happy Arie

Lonno Lodge har en saltvattenpool kantad med halmparasoller och ett privat strandområde. Hotellet ligger 4 km från Watamus centrum och erbjuder lyxigt boende inrett med lokala artefakter. Vistelsen var över förväntan, mycket trevlig personal, otroligt trevligt ställe, fint beläget, bra rum. Absolut inget att klaga på. Vi saknade inget.

Avaisetes Relatives Ecolodge and Backpackers ligger vid Kilifi Creek, bara 3 km utanför staden. Boendet omges av en skog och har ett avskilt strandområde, en restaurang och en utomhuspool. Out of everywhere in the world, this was my favorite hostel ever! Meant to stay 4 nights and stayed 2 weeks and didn’t want to leave. The property is HUGE and so beautiful. They were constantly cleaning and all the facilities were well maintained. The staff, especially Beth, Brian and George were incredible. There’s hostel pets we fell in love with as well. Can cook there too! Just beware monkeys will enter the dorm rooms constantly! So don’t bring food in there. Couldn’t recommend enough.

Baobab Sea Lodge ligger längs Indiska oceanens kust och erbjuder elegant inredda rum. Här finns en pool omgiven av en 26 000 m2 stor tropisk trädgård och en restaurang. I loved the location close to the lovely white sand beach and the Indian Ocean. Also, I liked the idea of building the guest houses in the traditional style - rounded, using natural materials like clay and wood. Each house has a small terrace, i can imagine resting there and falling asleep while listening to the sound of ocean waves. The houses are surrounded by a beautiful tropical garden. And yes, there are many wonderful baobab trees around. Should i have not travelled for work, I would definitely enjoy lovely vacations days in this lodge.
