Als je wil wandelen in het SInharaja rainforest dan is dit een uitstekende, zo niet de beste locatie. Leuk is dat het hotel meldt dat er geen zwembad is maar wel een privé waterval. Dit is ook zo, kort na onze aankomst begeleide de dame van het hotel ons naar deze waterval om te zwemmen. Het hotel voorziet een gids, Kumara. Hij is fantastisch, hij past het wandeltempo perfect aan de groep aan en hij heeft een onuitputtelijke kennis van de natuur. Zijn Engels is veel beter dan gemiddeld in Sri Lanka.

They were Very welcoming, recieved us with a natural juice. The food was really good and well served, Very big portions. All the family was very attentive and concerned with our well-being. Our host went above and beyond to ensure it was an unforgettable occasion, adding a personal touch that truly made me feel special. Without a doubt, if I ever find myself in Sri Lanka again, Charming Dark Lodge will be my first choice for accommodation. Its unmatched hospitality, and inviting ambiance have left an indelible mark on my travel memories. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a truly exceptional homestay experience in Sri Lanka.

Coconut Cabin - Hiriketiya Beach in Hiriketiya biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi, op 2,6 km van Kudawella-strand, 5,6 km van Hummanaya Blow Hole en 21 km van Weherahena Buddhist Temple. The quiet away from busy beach, at night there are no street lights, just the stars and fireflies. Close to (100m) very vibrant beach and great surf spot, lots of restaurants and parties, but when you are in need of quiet, its just 100m away. The cabin is stylish and clean with a private garden. Beautiful kitchen for light cooking. Easy to communicate with Andy, he really makes an effort to help with everything you need. Highly recommended to have a great holiday in Hiriketiya.

Cinnamon View Lodge Mirissa ligt in Mirissa in de regio Matara District, en heeft een balkon. Uniek verblijf middenin de natuur tussen de apen. Klein maar fijn. Prima badkamer met warm water. Ruim balkon. Ligt op twee kilometer afstand van het centrum van Mirissa, laatste stukje toegangsweg is onverhard en is bergopwaarts.

Dumith and his family were extremely accommodating, helpful and caring. The room is well-equipped, private, clean and has proper Wifi. It has a really nice terrace where you can listen and watch all sort of birds pass by. We were treated like family members. They always went out of their way to make sure we are comfortable. Dumith was always happy to show us around and accompanied us all the way to Deniyaya city to make sure we get on the right bus. Highly recommended and will be back.
