Nihal picked us at the Ella railway station and he provided us transport & guidance to visit all the places to see in Ella. He is a very helpful person and always willing to give his support in any case. The place is clean, calm and quiet and it is located very close to the nine arch's bridge and has a perfect view. Additionally the shower was fantastic.

Arawe is a newly renovated 150-year old nature cottage located around 400m from the centre of Ella. Incredible eco design made you feel relaxed and at one with nature! The views of mountains and tea hills stretched for miles, and at night you can hear all kinds of animals and admire the fireflies / sky full of stars. Absolutely beautiful! Our host was so kind and attentive, checking in on us daily. It is clear he has a passion for living harmoniously and assisting others. This is reflected in his retreat and other projects. All staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were amazing!! We loved our stay here, thank you!

Featuring a garden and free WiFi, Arana Sri Lanka Eco Lodge and Yoga Center is situated in Ella, 3 km from Demodara Nine Arch Bridge. The whole experience was really amazing. Before we arrived, we were contacted so that we could be picked up from Ella train station, with clear instructions. We were also running a bit late and could pre-order from their restaurant. When we got there, the whole team of staff were so friendly and kind, helping us with luggage, letting us know what we could do and arranging transport. They work with particular tuk tuk drivers that they feel offer good service and that they trust. The meals were delicious, in particular the breakfasts. The room that we got was spacious and had all the facilities that we needed. There were plenty aircon so we weren't too hot. It is in the middle of nature so there can be some tiny insects about- but we loved that. All in all a really wonderful time and I couldn't recommend enough.

It is a stunning location, situated in the forest, with amazing views of Ella Rock and the surrounding area. The room was large and comfortable, with stunning views to wake up to. I like everything about Tantra Lodge, everything was perfect as I saw online. It is a beautiful little oasis surrounded by trees full of wonderful wildlife. This place is also only a very short walk from Ella town, it is convenient for restaurants. Supermarket, shops and all the local must see attractions such as “9 Arches Bridge’ and ‘Little Adams Peak’ etc and many stunning hikes. It was so central here, I walked everywhere. My host Anjalo was the kindest, most thoughtful and best host in Ella, he went above & beyond to make sure I had a comfortable stay. He had much information to share and was always available when I needed him. My room was cosy, bright and modern, with a big & very comfortable bed, I had lovely private bathroom and shower. It was super clean and tidy. I also had access to a gorgeous & peaceful balcony space outside my room, where I often took rest and read or wrote. I loved everything about this homestay, it was home away from home.

Stuff amazing, they offering free pick up and drop off for check in and check out. Owners will do everything for you to make your holidays easy and smooth! We asked for tuk tuk for round trip, they found best price for us, we asked about taxi to Yala - they found the best price for us. Anything we need they helped with! And you are in the middle of forest, no rush, just trees, monkeys and few other animals. Really nice stay we enjoyed and would recommend to everybody. Thank you again for everything you did for us.

His dedication to hospitality is evident in every aspect of the property. One of the highlights of my stay was the proximity to Ella's main attractions. Ayubo Ella is conveniently located just 1.2 kilometers away from the heart of Ella, and it's within walking distance of the train station. A leisurely 20-minute walk through the picturesque surroundings is all it takes to reach the town center, making it incredibly convenient for travelers. The staff at Ayubo Ella are some of the friendliest and most accommodating individuals I've encountered. They were always ready to assist with a warm smile and helpful recommendations.
