Only Lina was able to speak English but nevertheless we were able to communicate with the husband and the kids. Lina is a great cook and she served us traditional food (simple). When we needed a lift they were always on time. The loft is nice and the best part of it is the balcony. The shower has hot water.

I arrived on the Titicaca train in the early evening, and a driver had been organized to drive me to the local port, where I was escorted by Juan, an exceptional host in every sense of the word, to the island which he and his father had built. During my stay there, Juan invited me on mini tours around some of the islands, where I learned more about Uros culture and history. The Peruvian meals prepared by his wife Amalia were exceptional- always on time, delicious, substantial and inviting. I was never hungry. Juan ensured that my stay at Amalia was truly exceptional and something which I'll never forget- watching the starry nights from a comfortable and warm bed, enjoying the sounds of silence of the lake, being mesmerized by the sunsets, and learning more about the natural beauty and wildlife of the area. This was truly an amazing experience!

Uros Lake Titicaca Lodge se nachází v destinaci Puno a má restauraci, pokojovou službu, bar, zahradu, terasu a výhled na hory. Na místě je dostupné Wi-Fi zdarma. Eddy and his family are wonderful. They made getting to and from their island so easy (and we had a very early bus when we left). We stayed two nights and whilst this experience may not be for everyone, it has been a highlight of our trip so far. The accommodation is (and has to be) very simple. You're on a floating platform of reeds! But it's a good size, the bed is comfortable and lovely and warm (helped by Eddy's mama's wrapped hot water bottles). It gets COLD at night as others have mentioned but tucked up snugly it doesn't matter. Bathroom facilities are verrrry basic, if you like cold water you're in for a treat. And it really isn't the place for anyone unsteady on their feet. You're walking on planks on top of reeds and climbing uneven stairs. If these are not an issue then treat yourself to a couple of nights there, it's magic. Also, Eddy includes a great 2 hour tour which is a must. He took us out at 10am and we had lunch at one of the other islands (also included).

The host was lovely, sorted out transport from the bus station all the way there and back. Looked after us, we didn't need to do anything, food sorted, activities and tours sorted. Welcomed us into the community, it was a privilege to be there. The views from our room and our outside terrace with bed was stunning! It was also nice to eat dinner with the other guests and get to know them, there was a lovely group there. Accommodated vegetarian diet with variety for the couple of days we were there. Kept us very warm throughout our stay!

UROS TITICA LODGE Puno Peru se nachází na plovoucích ostrovech Uros, 30 minut plavby od pobřeží Puna, a nabízí ubytování v nejvyšším splavném jezeře na světě. This lodge is just perfect. For sure one of the best places in which we have ever stayed. The service that we received from Ivan was magnificent. He picked us at the shore of the lake and took us to the lodge. He was always ready to help us and do the different activities in the lake and Uros community with us. The facilities are very beautiful and everything was built by Ivan and his family. If you want a mesmerizing view of the lake, this is the best place to stay!!! WE TOTALLY RECOMMEND IT!!!!

Uros Summa Paqari se nachází na plovoucím ostrově Uros v Punu, 7 km od jezera Titicaca. Přístav Puno je vzdálený 5 km. Všechny pokoje mají vlastní koupelnu. Gorgeous place to stay!! The room was fab, better than we expected. Everything was very clean, a lovely hot shower and plenty of blankets for the cold nights. The dinner and breakfast was nice and the family here are so welcoming and friendly.

Wilburt and Delia were amazing hosts, who were super friendly, sweet, caring and more than just hosts. For 3 days it felt like family. Locationwise it is an amazing location for a romantic get away and time to spent together. The stary sky, the beautiful lakeview of titicaca lake are very special and make it a stay to remember. Wilburt and Delia will endulge you in local cultural aspects of their life and will show you the Urus island way of living. Absolut must recommendation. We loved our stay and would come back any time. The bed is amazing, you will never sleep cosier than in this hotel.
