So peaceful, in the middle to the jungle. Eco Tao is luxurious in every respect but it is an understated luxury in harmony with nature. As soon as one arrives at Eco Tao, one feels relaxed. The body relaxes, so do the senses. It has everything one needs without any schnick-schnack. It's pure simplicity. Staff are very helpful and professional, everything is very well thought out and everything works. The pool is not large, but since the property only has 12 accommodation units in total, it never becomes crowded. Besides, the tranquility of the place just kind of enters everybody, so people are quiet, kind, respectful of each other.

The accomodation is located next to Tanote Beach which is great for snorkeling. This time of the year it is quiet here (except for some reggae music from the Jah Bar reggae bar). For little money I had my own bungalow with balcony, bathroom and decent bed with mosquito net. It is a 15min ride on a scooter to the center of Koh Tao. All in all a very nice place to chill and snorkel.

Very nice flat with all you would need, cleanliness, well working wifi and aircon. I planned to stay only 2 nights, but finally I decided to extend it with 3 more. I slept very well. I felt it a bit overpriced, but I got quality.
