Beach and surf town with a very relaxed atmosphere.
Beach and surf town with a very relaxed atmosphere. There are many restaurants, but the very best food is outside the city in a place called Cafe com Cacau. The food and the people there are worth a trip to Itacare. For tours, you have only two options, in my opinion - Dona (Sra.) Cida, a 74 years old lady who will show you the beauties of Itacare beaches and forests. And Leo, he is a master tour guide who is born and raised in Itacare, he knows every place and everyone in town.

Not to mention that everything was on spot, clean, tidy and Larissa who manages the places is an absolut gem of a person and will attend all your needs with a big smile. He even drove us to the doctor and helped us rescheduling our flights. The location is very good, it’s close to the Main Street but far away enough that it’s quite at night, same with the beaches. Very delicious breakfast. We would come back any time!
