The location was wonderful, the view out over the river amazing. Incredible diversity of birdlife and crocodiles. Breakfast served on the deck overlooking everything was great. Same with all the other food we tried there, especially the beef tacos. I would definitely recommend the boat cruise, knowledgeable crew as well. My whole family had a wonderful time, and my youngest children didn't want to leave. All the staff were helpful and full of smiles, and our host, Mike, has written some interesting books about Croc Pools (I didn't know about the Battle of Croc Pools during the Boer War), Botswana and Diamonds. I have already decided to book there for the weekend of my birthday this year.

My husband and I thoroughly loved the tranquility and scenery of the cottage we were staying in. The cottage was well maintained and clean..also to our delight, the DSTV subscription was for all channels, which was an entertainment bonus. Clean beautiful quiet place. Friendly and helpful host. Made sure that we managed to get to the property safely. We had no cellphone network when we got to Botswana. We managed to get assistance from a "hotel" where we made use of their WI-FI. The host managed to request a taxi that took us to the venue.
