I stayed in the attic room - which is just an attic, very small but had the most stupendous view. So that made up for the tight quarters and shared bathroom. Loved that they had free parking right in front. The breakfast was very good in the morning. The staff was super friendly.

One of the top wonderful creations of God!
One of the top wonderful creations of God! A must visit place in Swiss. It's really a cute fairytale valley surrounded by mighty mountain ranges on either sides flowing numerous Loud-Fountains (in German, Lauterbrunnen 😀) We were staying there and have plans with my family to re-visit again and again 😀 a lot to explore still.

This valley is beautiful.
This valley is beautiful. It had amazing views and mutliple things to do. The restaurants weren't the best with exception to Restaurant Weidstübli and Betty's Corn Dogs. Those two places were amazing! The town vas very crowded at times and we were there in the sholder season. Excellent rail link from Interlaken and then access by train or cable car to various mountains. Whilst the village is quiet it has a coffee shop and a few other shops open during March, I'm sure many more in the Summer.

The town Lauterbrunnen is wonderful.
The town Lauterbrunnen is wonderful. Small town with a cliff on both sides. Very scenic. Murren and Shilthorn the Ski Attractions are accessible through Lauterbrunnen. Nice cosy hotels and wonderful food and friendly people is what Lauterbrunnen offers. Its very close to the wonderful town Wengen (20 min via train) which is at a Hill top opposite to Lauterbrunnen and connects to Jungfrau - The Top of Europe. Lauterbrunnen is a must visit town if one is visiting Switzerland and wants to enjoy a very scenic and less crowded experience.

The place view is beautiful especially the Staubacch Falls. The property manager is very helpful he was very detailed about entering to the property. If you have questions or problems you can easily contacted him via phone or WhatsApp and he will answer your call right then.

Switzerland is so expensive, yet this hostel provides a budget stay with a great location and comfortable beds. We stayed here in a 4 person bunk room with our teenage daughter to hike for 4 days. We shopped for groceries at the supermarket across the street and appreciated the ability to make ourselves an inexpensive breakfast each day and make sandwiches for a packed lunch each day for our hikes. Our room #4 had a door to the outside balcony with a gorgeous view.

I believe they were the only ones to be open ( restaurant) for the village are 8. but they were not fazed by continued activity. and they also uneducated us to some Swiss delicacies that we would have otherwise not tried. Firstly our room was upgraded and we actually stayed across the road in Hotel Crystal (part of Oberland) in a big deluxe room with a balcony view. The room was spotlessly clean and had plenty of space to maneuver around and a great size bathroom. The breakfast in the morning was also great with plenty of options on offer. I can't believe this is only a 2 star hotel as it's one of our best stays in all of Europe. An absolute must if you stay in Jungfrau region/Lauterbrunnen!
