The atmosphere was good and so was the room. But there was a smell in the first floor. Staff was helpful, less options for chicken/veg eaters for dinner.

Pretty little town set on the Rhine. The houses are colourful and diverse styles making it a pleasure just to walk the streets and admire them. The walking path west along the Rhine was great for early morning 10km jogs. There are lots of little clothes shops to visit if you like shopping. We stayed two nights and it was perfect.

It is a cosy, little town.
It is a cosy, little town. I was off-season and only for one night, so the town wasn't bustling with people. I arrived by train and it is very walkable city.
If I have arrived by car, I would probably get irritated as there was a relatively large traffic jam when I left the train station and entire one-way street was filled with cars. I believe the entire region is best to be travelled by public transportation or bike or combination thereof.
There was a very nice cheese shop opposite the hotel I stayed.

What a beautiful town on the Rhine River, however, the train...
What a beautiful town on the Rhine River, however, the train stop, especially going under to gain access back to Eltville was dirty and looks like no one has touched it in years. VERY SAD to see such a beautiful, historic town have such a horrible public transportation location. We recommend seeing the castle, old historic church, and enjoy a glass of wine on the river!
Breakfast was great with delicious options and fast service from owners - two gentlemen who were courteous and friendly. The hotel is small and comfortable for a few days and ideal for a long weekend in the countryside. We walked through the vineyards on the hills and dropped down to the other villages - taking the train back to Eltville if we walked too far! Rüdesheim am Rhein should be avoided like the plague - it is a tourist trap except for the Mechanical Museum!
Everything was SUPER. Very clean, stylish and comfortable. Great bed with nice and warm duvets, great furniture and great bathroom.
The host offered us a glass of sparkling wine when we arrived (came just as another couple was winetasting in the wineshop at the hotel) Very nice and informative host.
A true little gem. 👍👍👍
quiet location, a five minute walk to the centre of town. The hotel is in a quiet residential area with good parking, breakfasts are good quality with a wide choice. Reception staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. Overall enjoyed the stay very much and would use this hotel again.
The hotel was very cute and well located in the centre of Eltville village. The host was very friendly and the breakfast was delicious. The room was very comfortable with a nice sized ensuite bathroom. There were no shampoo or conditioner, just a small satchet of shower gel.
Our apartment was on the 2nd floor in the attic and it was so cute and charming with all the exposed timber beams. A beautiful spot in a quiet location. The town of Eltville is so beautiful and I’d highly recommend a visit and stay.
Perfect location & very spacious apartment. Better than a hotel anytime. The owners were responsive and gave clear directions on how to get into the apartment. I will stay again at this apartment. The bed was comfortable!
Right in the centre of Eltville and above a (lovely) bakery/patisserie. Very comfortable room, very helpful staff and relaxed atmosphere. We loved the breakfast which was served at the table and was very generous.
Clean and modern rooms in a historic building, friendly owner and he goes out of his way to make sure his guests are comfortable and enjoying their time. Good wine bar in the hotel with tasting options
Lovely hotel, well positioned in Eltville. Vouchers for their own wine on check-in; brilliant courtyard for sampling wine and Flammkuchen. Beautiful old building, impressively renovated.
Very nice location in the center of Eltville. Very nice restaurant and outside seating area. Breakfast was freshly made to the wishes of each guest. Big room and nice bathroom.
The quality of everything. All the little added touches. The breakfast was amazing. The bed is very comfortable . The staff go above and beyond. I highly recommend this hotel.
my family lives in the area. i was here for a wedding and it was the only hotel room left during the time. staff, especially cleaning were nice as well as person at check in.
