This Hotel is perfect for Families with kids. There is nice little play area, on 3 floor is little climbing station. ( I think all floors have it) When we arrive kids get little gift. Near Hotel is playground, you can have nice and chill walk. Train station is also not really far from Hotel. We visit Legoland and all was perfect! We loved it!

Friendly and very helpful staff. We arrived very late and completely forgot to inform the hotel staff. Yet they proactively managed our late access.

There were ten of us in the apartment, three generations, and no problem. It was spacious, whoever wanted it had their privacy. We will definitely come back next year, when we take the kids to Legoland again

Everythink in Günzburg was excellent.
Everythink in Günzburg was excellent. Easy to get there by train. Cosy center with lovely coffee an ice shops and resturants. We stayed in the hotel Goldene Traube three nights. We had a regular breakfast at the Reissler bakery (caffee, brezel, cakes..). We enjoyed pizzas and minestrone soups in Guntia pizzeria- very friendly to kids. Soups, kaesepaetzle, Maximillian's gulash, salats, kinderschnizel and apple fritters in brasserie Maximillan's at Marktplatz would recommend. Ice cream in Eiscafe numero Uno was dream for kids. And Legoland was above expectations: great fun for kids, but also for adults! Legoland was also easy accesable by a shuttle bus from train station.

We went there just for Legoland.
We went there just for Legoland. However we did try one Vietnamese restaurant (Schnell Restaurant Pham) and we like it so much we stuck with it! The three days we were there we ate only at Mrs Pham's!
Getting around the town on foot is easy.
Next time I would avoid renting an ev. This process of finding a way to pay for the charging of your electirc car is a nightmare for those not familiar with how this thing works in Germany and even worst for people like me that do not speak German.

Günzburg, a small town on the Danube has a delightful old central area with a thousand years of history. I knew absolutely nothing about it before, but spent three days on my own to kill time before travelling from a meeting here in the restored Castle - Schloss Reisensburg, on a hill overlooking the Danube, to another meeting in Italy. The Hotel Hirsch was a lucky choice, being right in the centre of the old town, where many of the buildings and views have been carefully restored with respect for their renaissance or baroque history. You can take a guided tour to visit the spectacularl rococo cathedral, and learn why it appears to be joined at the hip to a secondary school. It's a beautiful example of Zimmerman's architecture, with an interesting backstory. Look at the houses on the line of the old city walls, whose upper floors project successively further over the street below, and discover why one of the surviving towers on the city wall is called the Kuhturm (cow tower). For lots more information and relics of its period under the Romans and when it was in Austria under the Habsburgs, as well as more recent times, I can recommend the Heimatmuseum, but it's only open on Sunday afternoons. For dinner I got lucky in two of my three choices. Almost opposite the hotel is an excellent Greek restaurant called Platia, and a couple of blocks away an amazing Italian restaurant called Backstube at Ηοfgasse 21. I wouldn't bother with a couple of others which appeared on the web to be good.

Typical german town with a small old town.
Typical german town with a small old town. Nice old houses around Marktplatz.
It was hard to find a decent coffee/breakfast location. Lots of empty locations, probebly due to Covid.
If you want to visit Legoland, Günzburg is a very good place to stay. Its only about 9 Minutes by car away.
Breakfast was complete even in small space.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. They have attention to details.
They left some gelly beans as a welcome, also a pen and paper for notes, that was very helpful.
The Location was 2km from Legoland but was safe to walk because there was a path only for bikes and pawns.
To and from train station (Günzburg) we took a taxi (too many bags), so don't know exactly how was the pawns path.
Good water pression and heat.
Good variety of channels in TV.
The staff is very nice and friendly. We had an awesome stay for the little time we (a family of four) stayed. We had our dog with us and found a great little park close by to walk her. We picked up groceries at Lidl, which is a few hundred meters away. Altstadt is 1.2km away and beautiful. They have a shuttle to/from Legoland. Breakfast was a good German breakfast with some variety. The restaurant is open to hotel guest and was standard German fare. We’d stay again.
The beds were so comfortable, and the accommodations were neat and clean. The hotel staff were all lovely and helpful. The German continental breakfast was something we looked forward to each morning and exceeded all expectations. The kids' play area on the covered patio was my 6-year-old daughter’s highlight as well as the convenience of how close Hotel Römer is to Legoland Deutschland. If you're traveling with children to Legoland, 10/10 recommend.
Comfortable beds, large bathroom, quality towels and fixtures, extra pillow and blanket.
Nice touch with the Haribo for the kid and the Gunzburg tour map - we actually used it.
Easy check in at the machine.
Friendly and accommodating, we were able to leave our luggage in the bike garage before check in, while visiting Legoland.
We chose the hotel because of a visit to the Legoland park. The hotel has large family rooms with large and spacious bathrooms. Everything was clean and tidy. Breakfast offers a wide selection and has extremely friendly staff. I definitely recommend a visit and if we ever visit this region again we will choose the same hotel.
Is very decent apartment and well maintained. Very clean and well within my expectation.. The host also found very supportive and extend his support and provide help and advice whenever is needed. This appartment is very close to Legoland .. and has its own parking lot
Located in a middle of the center, the hotel is very easy to find! Owners have a perfect sense of design: sober and simply but so beautiful!!
Moreover, the owners helped us get cheaper tickets for Legoland, though saving our precious time!!
Hotel is near the nice city of Günzburg, really easily accessible (at least with a car). Room was nice for a stay with kids, Legoland is only a 5-10' ride by car so very convenient. Parking space available right in front of the hotel.
It is a nice and big apartment, the host is very nice and friendly. The apartment is clear, tidy and has everything you need, including the kitchen facilities. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, close to both Legoland and Gunzburg.
We liked it because it has a good location in the center of the city, close to so many restaurants and also close to a kids park. Very nice of them for the small surprize present for the kids when checking in the Hotel.
Hotel was fine and staff was great! We booked a room for 4. 2 beds were good. 2 beds were not too good.
hotel staff at check-in and check-out was very friendly and helpfull.
Excellent breakfast and very friendly staff, centrally and beautifully located and within walking distance to the train station (from where there is a bus to Legoland).
