To begin with - this was an amazing experience!
This farm is located in a beautiful place on the hill. The road to the place was quite steep, but ok.
The hosts were very nice.
The dinner and breakfast (offered for additional payment) were very authentic, the cheese was just amazing.
The wifi worked good.
There was parking
We bought some sausages from their shop, they were also great.
There also was a museum of "farm tools" open to every guest.

We had a lovely comfortable clean room with a window that opened with views over the garden and into the mountains. . It was spacious and good storage for luggage. There is a pleasant garden area for guests to relax in. The reception staff on the day we checked in spoke good English. We reserved a car park which was available when we arrived. Good varied breakfast. The highlight was the dinner in the restaurant. None of the restaurant staff spoke English but this was not a problem as it was a set menu on the night we were there. The food and service was superb and it was not expensive given the quality of the fare.

We used the VVF house as a welcome 2 night stop on the Stevenson track. The house sleeps 6 persons and was thus very spaceous for us two.
Bathroom and kitchen were very good.
The VVF personnel excels in kindness and helpfulness.

Wonderful location, compact and comfortable room, stylish decor with playful use of materials. Staff who we met were great, good breakfast and coffees. Visiting in October, the misty cool river in the morning was very atmospheric ahead of the hot sunny day to come.
We only bought food this time. But on earlier visit stayed at Grand Hotel du Parc which was very good. Streets are narrow and one way system can be difficult. Best to use parking at edge of town in high season.

We had to enter the coordinates of the farm in the navigation system of our car to get to this small paradise. The place is nature pure. The food is 100% local. Bread is cooked once a week. the water is simply source water. The staff is very good always ready to help. People coming here are from all the possible places but somehow with some similar motivation and envy to enjoy what this place can offer to you.
The wifi (when available) is very weak ... but it is not required in this place where everybody can eventually find some time and space to walk, to talk, to discuss, to read, to admire the nature, to get inspired or simply to think.

This town is on the Stevenson Trail so many hikers pass through here. There are a few restaurants including one in the Michelin guide. On a Sunday evening when we were there only the pizza place was open - and this was very good.

La ferme is a very fun, engaging experience in an absolutely beautiful setting. The communal meals with the other guests were great and my kids loved they hikes, the animals, and the whole experience. The room was quite big and the little village nearby, Florac, was a quaint and good spot to stop and eat for anyone enjoying Cévennes.
Pleasant enough hotel showing signs of faded grandeur, so decor is dated. On arrival, the reception staff kindly found us a ground floor room with easier access that the originally allocated upper floor room in a place with no lift. Room was small but comfortable enough. Breakfast buffet good. Nice pool. Set in lovely gardens.
Amazing and unique. If you enjoy a communal environment, this is a 5 star hotel. Staff are charming, welcoming and efficient. Delicious food prepared by fireplace!! Above all else, completely unique place that will surely grow your life-travel experience due to its world-class setting. Loved it… will visit again.
We had a fantastic experience at this hotel! It has exceeded our expectations! The rooms were very clean and freshly redecorated, the service was friendly, the location was great, and the food (dinner) was simply out of this world!
The hotel was lovely with a great outdoor pool. Parking was great for the motorbike in an undercover large shed. We ate in the hotel restaurant as there wasn’t really anywhere else but the food was excellent and reasonably priced.
