Avery good selection for breakfast and the waiters were always helpful and in good humour. Each day the room was cleaned and the tea packets, milk caremal biscuit topped up.The evening meal was also excellent. As I am semi-inviladed my case was carried up the stairs too and from my room. Excellent service.

Fantastic location. Nethy Bridge is lovely and it is generally speaking a nice hotel. Not that much competition around.
Nethybridge Hotel is situated in the heart of the beautiful Cairngorm National Park, a 10-minute drive from the A9 and 30 minutes’ drive from Inverness.

The Nethybridge Hotel offers a prime location in the Cairngorm National Park. The building exudes historic charm but is a little dated. The staff were friendly and accommodating and the room was satisfactory. The food was good. Overall a solid choice for a stay in this beautiful region.

Excellent location with just a short walk to the shops and restaurants. The pod was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. A shared kitchen area for basic cooking with books, games and information. Super friendly hosts.

Carrbridge is an attractive quiet village with woodland walks around it. It has a shop, garage (cheap petrol) and a cafe. The Landmark attraction is great for children and the Highland Wildlife Park is not far - both great activities.

It was very peaceful.
It was very peaceful. The staff Gina was helpful when we arrived. It was a bit far from anywhere walking. The lodge was adequate and the kitchen was fully equipped. However the cooker was old and while clean wasn’t very nice. Some of the buttons were worn and difficult to use. The heating was adequate. The bed felt hard and too narrow. We didn’t eat out so can’t comment on eating places. However it wasn’t far from Aviemore. We visited the ski centre, Loch Garten and Loch Morlich.

Nice old fashioned inn; food and drink excellent, great staff, especially Nathan, who went above and beyond to greet everyone at the bar. Despite shampoo and soap issue and noisy plumbing in my room, I’ll be back.

Very good location.
Very good location. On my 20 ti 25 minutes drive to Inverness. Town itself is very beautiful.
There is a landmark adventure park nearby and kids would love to enjoy.
Lochanhully resort is wonderful to stay with kids.
Excellent location for exploring the Cairngorms . Modern , well designed and renovated rooms in a character historic highland hotel . Public areas recently refurbished giving the entire hotel a well cared for look . Warm welcome on reception and very efficiently run breakfast room - all self serve, including teas and coffees and this worked extremely well to the credit of the management and staff . The standard of cleaning and room presentation high. Even the service yard and the rear of the hotel is tidy and well swept .
The expectations were low from reading reviews, but it was the only accomodation in the area that could accomodate us as a family of 5. I was greeted by a lovely lady at reception who was very kind and clearly experienced with the public. She even let us check in slightly early. There was also a lovely older gentleman who was dropping off laundry on the morning of our departure and he was again very cheerful and kind, he offered to take our rubbish, so i didn't have to drop it off.
Everything! Used to be an old hunting lodge, and Steve and Tracy have transformed it into a fabulous Inn. Beautiful rooms, very clean, super comfortable-best “sleep” of our entire trip, great breakfast! They were professional, but also treated us like old friends while we hung out with them in their very own bar that one evening. Reminded us of what B and B’s USED to be like back in the day.
Owner of the hotel is a very passionate and kind man. Tell him your travel plans and he will have great tips for your stays. Recommended us multiple beautiful locations.
Comfortable beds, bath / shower, good TV, overall a great room.
Free parking.
Wee pub and great restaurant are part of the hotel.
Would highly recommend!
The owner went out of his way for everything possible, including offering me to drive to a city a half hour away because I had a flat tire. He wasn’t expecting any kind of payment. He was looking just to help in anyway you can you will not find this anywhere I will always be loyal to his hotel for his services.
Location was excellent, close to village centre with a pub and restaurant, the train station just around the corner from the bnb. Carrbridge is on the mainline from Inverness to Glasgow. Breakfast was served in the room between 0800 to 0900, lovely and delicious filled rolls. Enjoyed the chats with Scott.
Perfectly set in Carrbridge, peaceful spot set away from the touristy area and charming traditional Scottish decor on a beautiful parcel of land. Our room was large and so comfy. Steve and Tracy were absolutely lovely hosts (and cook!) We wish we could have stayed here longer.
Had a fantastic time here. Very welcomin, staff is lovely. Arrived late and Andre was kind enough to cook up a meal for me. Really enjoyed the pub food, beers and folks there that evening. Surrounding area is charming. Room was comfortable, great value.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Quiet room, located in a separate annex to the bar and restaurant. Plenty to do in the surrounding area, and the hotel has many brochures about attractions to give inspiration about activities in the locality.
The new owners were very friendly and welcoming.
The breakfast was tasty, fresh and filling.
The grounds of the hotel are well looked after and have seating to enjoy the views.
The hotel is about a 5 minute walk into the centre of the town.
After discovering that the local town was busy and seeing us on a bicycle made for two, the hosts very graciously provided dinner. The bar was a wonderful place for tall tales and the dram of whiskey will not be forgotten.
It actually felt like home for the few days we were there. Carrbridge is a great location, with easy access to the Cairngorms and the main A9. Not that you need that, as there are lovely walks around the village.
Not a great deal, we have spent a couple of long weekends at, MacDonald Hotel resorts, and to be honest, this was the worst one we have been to,and we wouldn't recommend it to anyone else
It was nice to have a full condo after days of hotels and B&Bs. It was conveniently located for our purposes. It was clean and well maintained, the staff were friendly and helpful.
Exactly as advertised, plus lovely staff/owners. Beautiful hotel with original features and a real cosy feel about it. Very comfortable and everything you could need in your room
The view over fields and animals was lovely and the cottage is charming. Beds a bit hard but ok. Location great, good choice for walking. Cairn hotel good and lovely staff.
Kim left us milk, cheese, eggs and wine, which was a lovely touch! Carrbridge is a great base to explore the area and the local hotels are good for food and drink.
