Very clean, and very friendly owner.
Recommended and would stay again.
The house fronts directly onto a street, you do hear traffic and people outside but it isn't a busy location.

Holt still retains it's old English style character, a very pleasant small town to visit with some nice shops to look around if you like that sort of thing along with a couple of nice pubs & cafes.

Holt was festive and fabulous.
Holt was festive and fabulous. It has a good range of shops, places of interest and walking opportunities. The Christmas lights and decorations are obviously a big attraction and provide a lovely atmosphere. All very gentle and calm.

Many interesting shops, such as Bakers and Larner, Joules, Weird Fish etc., Byfords great for food either breakfast or dinner, also for fresh bread and cakes to take away, Follies tea room very quaint. In places the roads are narrow would be better one-way traffic especially around Byfords.

Upmarket town with lots of independent shops, easy access to the coast, beware of high parking charges, good, free parking, and toilets at Cley & Blakeney village hall, (£5.40 for 3 hours at Weybourne "beach") The train to Sheringham is a nice trip, the seafront museum is very good.

Great part of the North Norfolk coast nice area quiet well placed property close to the town center you're able to walk in within 15 minutes relatively close to shopping so again possibility that you can't walk to the local supermarket full stop new line the overall good property small enough to be cozy large enough to car accommodate up to four adults
The View was the perfect holiday location for us. It was beautifully decorated and the views from the living area were simply wonderful. Combined with the blue skies we could have been in Umbria! Holt is such a lovely little town to explore and everything was on the doorstep, yet wonderfully quiet at night. The apartment is spacious, comfortable, homely, quiet and had everything we needed. We only wish we could have spent a little more time in it - we were attending a wonderful family wedding at nearby Voewood. We hope very much we can return.
lovely little double bedrooms beautifully decorated and extremely comfy beds. we only stayed one night and it was perfect, but bigger rooms might be better if you stayed for longer. the bar was lovely and cosy
(NB.This is the Kings Head in Leatheringsett, just outside Holt - not to be confused with the Kings Head in the centre of Holt, which we initially arrived at by mistake, and which looked nothing like as nice. It was such a pleasant surprise when we finally got to the correct place - much nicer than expected)
Mo was an excellent host and we felt very welcome for our Easter stay. The breakfast was supurb with plenty of tasty local produce and the homemade fruit compot was delicious. The old world charm of an English country house was lovely, and for a large guy like me the high ceilings a really plus. The view over the village and beautiful large gardens of the house from the bedroom window is really gorgeous. You feel right in the heart of the Norfolk countryside.
Property was exceptionally clean, comfortable and finished to a high quality standard. Gorgeous sunset views from the living room across the rooftops of Holt.
Ideal location to explore the area, all within walking distance of the high street and surrounding area. Bonus having an allocated parking space a very short walk away.
Excellent customer service from the hosts, we really enjoyed our first visit to Norfolk and would definitely book again!
We loved our stay at Chez Marguerite. It had everything we could need for a weekend away, plus a few luxuries and thoughtful touches. The hut was surprisingly spacious and an easy walk from Holt. We also very much enjoyed our feline visitors: Mackerel, Ralph and Boots. In fact, we had such a nice time that we decided to stay an extra night, which Karoline was happy to arrange despite the short notice.
HOME FROM HOME! Absolutely loved staying in this property with my family for a lovely few days in Norfolk very central location and only 5 minute walk from the beautiful town of holt there are regular bus routes to cromer and sheringham the house was beautiful and clean and had everything we needed the house is perfect and we will definitely will be staying here again :)
A beautiful, comfortable cottage in the heart of Holt. Quiet and yet within 2 minutes walking from the high street a perfect location. Easy access by car to other parts of Norfolk.
The cottage has everything you need and was very clean and stylish, the bed was so comfortable we have ordered the same mattress.
The Olives is a real gem. Very comfortable, everything you could need was provided, including breakfast goodies. This is a great location for visits to Sheringham (we used the nearby North Norfolk heritage railway) and for other seaside locations. Holt itself is a charming Georgian village.
Fantastic stop off on our travels around Norfolk, a great little town, with lots of interesting little shops and cafes nearby. The staff here were lovely and very welcoming, was so nice to chat with Sasha our waitress at dinner.
Would recommend The Feathers for a Sunday roast too!
Excellent location right in the middle of Holt. Parking for us was also good as we were out of season but the Albert road car park would have also been fine. The outside area was very nicely done and we did use it, nice planting. For a cottage is packs in a lot of comfort.
breakfast was adequate with a good choice. our room was fairly small but acceptable for short stay. we had one dinner which was fine but not a large choice of menu. hotel has recently been taken over by Chestnut hotels .
Great location, very close to Holt and Sheringham, and ideal for our classic car show weekend.
Every attention to detail was covered by our host, and our room and breakfast was first class.
Thoroughly recommended.
We stayed in this beautiful home for four nights to explore the area. It was a perfect base to discover North Norfolk and we'll be back. The house is exceptionally comfortable and well-presented.
Breakfast at the hotel nearby. Very good
We are very familiar with Holt and this pub which we often have a drink in when staying locally in our caravan. This was a weekend away for a birthday.
