Great staff who were all very friendly and helpful. Was given a nice big fruit platter on the first day which was a nice touch. Pool area was great, especially with the sprinkler system misting around.
The guys that drove around the cart were very helpful and recommended some very nice places to eat and even called on our behalf.

The stay happened during the war, and for an ability to operate in this time, providing both for internally displaced people from all over the border housed at the hotel, and for the guests, the hotel shall be commended.
🏨 The room was nice, clean, with a nice balcony with a view. The bathroom had a large bathtub. It was very quiet, and wi-fi worked well.
📷 There's access to the roof with a great panoramic view (for now at least, as there's construction going on in front of the hotel).
🍳 The breakfast is great, with much variety, and with good timing. I was warned not to be late, but even arriving ten minutes before breakfast end everything was available.
🗺️ The hotel is within a short walk to the bus terminal, and the promenade with public beaches are just meters away. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.
💸 The price for the stay was very reasonable. Note that if you are not an Israeli citizen the price would be without VAT and even better.
Galei Kinneret Hotel is set directly on the shore of the Sea of Galilee, with a wonderful view of the Golan Heights. It also offers extensive spa facilities.

I am an archaeologist working nearby so this location was perfect for me. You need a car to get anywhere, although there is bus service to town and the local thermal spa.
Kinneret is quiet, peaceful - a good place to relax especially for older people. It will get hot in summer.

Lively scenery.
Lively scenery. Around a 20 minute drive from a large shopping centre with lots if restaurants. Hamat Gader, a crocodile farm, is worth a visit. We spent 6 hours there. It has a swimming pool. Helpful in the summer heat

During June, summer mostly on the Friday, and Saturday, the public beach for swimming was super crowded, unpleasant, this was a letdown. And walking around, looking for other things to do besides swim was impossible due to heat, and the Ohalo, does not have its own Pool. So, make sure you stay at a place with a pool as an alternative, or have a vehicle to get around. For us it was sabbath, we weren't driving. We tried something new, the beach at Ein Gev, for Boating sports, and we paid an expensive fee for speedboat, plus 30 min waterski experience for our teenager who was with us. This was very exciting, and enjoyable.

Pleasant reception and decent sized room.
Pleasant reception and decent sized room. Complimentary tickets to excellent swimming pool nearby. Bedsheets should be changed every day. More variety in breakfast pack. Some salad would be good. Also crusty rather than soft rolls. We did not know how to use the on screen TV guide to help select programmes. A choice of English language programmes and access to Sky News would be nice. Please put locks on patio doors and chase away the stray cats!
Garden rooms were comfortable and spacious. Great food and amazing views from dining area. Staff were very helpful. There is access to a lovely walking path on the shore of the kinneret which leads both to the yarden beach campsite (with access to the water but no lifeguards) and the kinneret cemetery where famous poets authors and leaders are buried e.g. רחל.
The place is beautiful, quiet, located 5 minutes from the kibbutz pool (which is very pleasant too, open space and really great music), 10 minutes by car from the mall place and 15 minutes from clean nice Kinneret beaches. The house was cosy and clean, the breakfast tasty. Already recommended the place to friends
The breakfast is very nice, the hotel's location is quite good and is very accessible and worked very well for our needs, the hotel gives complimentary vouchers for kayaking in the jordan river. The staff is nice.
the place was clean and friendly, close to the supermarket, dinning room and the big pool. the kids like the playground and close to the Kinneret for a swim.
