Rooms are comfortable and well-equipped; staff is very professional and friendly, attentive to guests; attractive, interesting Muranese-themed decor in public rooms - all in good taste w/comfort and intimacy in mind; small fitness area by reservation only - good eqpmt; very good bar+terrace; also interior bar which is more intimate (lovely barman!); airport transfer. And location is excellent (if you want a quieter stay than in central Venice (only short boat ride to Venice, purchased ticket required), ambiance of Murano is interesting/authentic). Overall, a very good experience. we recommend.
Hotel Conterie is set in the heart of Murano, right by the Murano Museo water bus stop, just a short ride from Venice. The Marco Polo Airport is just 20 minutes away by water taxi.

Beautiful, quiet location on Murano, close to several good restaurants and a superb glass workshop. Deceptive and distinctive building layout. Nice terrace. Owner was very polite.

The apartment we stayed in was amazing! It was clean, spacious, the bed was comfortable, and most importantly the location was amazing! We had a view of the water which we loved, and Murano island is not near as busy as Venice, so coming back from Venice at nights was relaxing.

The apartment was especially clean. I had a late booking and Marta got the apartment ready for me in about 1/2 hour. She told me where to go to eat and I got lost. So then I checked in, she went out and got me a pizza! The location is awesome and just about 5 blocks from the boat taxi. Marta told me where to go and where to buy some things I was looking for. A fantastic host.
I loved staying on Murano. It was less crowded than Venice itself, especially at night and early mornings. I was able to take a glass working class and visit a furnace to see how the glassblowing masters work, which was very interesting. It felt like staying in a small town with easy access to Venice, Burano, and the airport.

The main streets of the island get very crowded during the day. However, move a little away from the crowds and it becomes peaceful.
After the day trippers have gone even the main streets become quiet.

We really enjoyed staying at the glassblowers' island of Murano, as a basis for visiting the city of Venice. It's a small and very peaceful island with mostly day trippers from the city, and a few nice bars and restaurants along the waterside. The boat into Venice runs frequently and we even got some spectacular views of the Dolomiti mountains. After a day of visiting the city we enjoyed being able to retreat back to the peace and quiet of Murano for the night.

A beautiful quiet island with easy and regular ferries to Venice and the other islands. In October once the many little shops closed at 5, the evenings were very quiet with just a few restaurants open in week nights. Friday night far more open. A great find if you want to see Venice but want to escape the crowds and see more of the other islands.
The location is good, the staff were extremely helpful, Venice is not the easiest place to get around, so their advice was invaluable. The hotel arranged transfers to the airport when we returned which was by boat and then car and it worked seamlessly taking the stress out of a potentially difficult day of travel.
The barman was worth a drink alone, just watching him mix cocktails and interact with the guests was entertainment itself he is a credit to the hotel.
The location in Murano is much more quiet than on the main island of Venice, yet well connected by vaporetti. The island also has much to see and all you need for cafes restaurants, grocerie storres and of course, glass shops. Rooms were clean and well cooled by AC. The little front yard serves well for sitting outside. Kind staff.
the hotel is located on Murano, a very quiet small island close to Venice but with al facilities. It is a small family run hotel in Venice style. This was the 3rd time I stayed here and hope to come back soon again. it is located in a quiet street, close to good restaurants and the boat to airport and Venice.
Spacious and comfortable apartment in an ideal location close to the water bus at Murano Colonna.
Murano is busy during the day (with day trippers) and very quiet in the evening which was ideal for us.
We were met by the owner/host who offered useful advice on Venice and local information.
Comfortable, spacious room and a good vibe throughout the hotel. Very kind and helpful staff at reception and bar. Generous checkout policy (noon). Right by the water and next to public transport. Murano is very quiet at night, a nice contrast to the more hectic areas of Venice.
Fabulous location and lovely spacious place to stay. Murano is a perfect base to explore Venice and the other islands and has plenty to explore in itself. The beds were comfy and the bathroom and kitchen were spacious and very functional. We had a very lovely stay.
If you want to stay in Murano, this was a great location because it's the second stop from Venice. The breakfast was acceptable for a 2* hotel. The bathroom was very large and had a window. The room had air conditioning which I didn't expect.
The location and the space were fantastic (but could use some darker curtains in the bathroom)! It was very quiet but easy to move in and out of Venice and surrounding areas. Definitely recommend!
A oasis of calm on the island of Murano, just 15 minutes by vaporetto from Venice. Comfortable beds and all mod cons, exactly as advertised. Great communication with the owner. Highly recommended.
The hotel is wonderfully located at the seaside on the beautiful island of Murano. We enjoyed the warm-hearted welcome of our host and our unique stay at this special and lovely place.
it was spacious room clean spotless. kitchen very spacious, same as bathroom, living room with sofa beds, bedrooms m has main bed and a bunk bed.
we was so chilled out here
I loved the decoration of the hotel, with several lamps made of Murano glass. Both common areas and rooms were lovely and comfortable. Functional bathroom and comfy bed
Excellent friendly hotel with great staff and a comfortable drinking lounge. A good location and a homely feel. Well worth staying there, I shall do so again.
