Location is the hotel's greatest asset. Room is comfortable and everything worked. The employees were all very nice and attentive. Hotel has an elevator and showers for those who have limitations when moving around. The full breakfast offered was very good, A+... but at the same time, there are so many other places to eat in town around the corner that you may want to venture out once or twice to try them out. There is a lot to see in this town. Great shopping as well with excellent leather goods and fashions.

Great location accessible to the city centre by walking. The front desk staff was very kind and informative. Room and bathroom were clean.
The room was small and compact with a nice window looking into the back courtyard/parking. The included breakfast was organized and had many options.

Vicenza has all the beauty and history of the great cities...
Vicenza has all the beauty and history of the great cities of the region, like Padua and Verona, but none of the tourists. It's much smaller and compact - you can walk from one side of the city walls to the other in 25 mins - but all the better for that. And the major attractions are the Palladian villas and civic buildings, both in the city and in the hills around the city, all easily walkable - no need for a car. It's a great base for exploring the other attractions of the Veneto by train: Venice in 40 mins, Padua in 25, Verona in 35 (and those are the cheaper regional trains, not the high speed Frecciarossa at 3 times the price but barely faster for these short-hop destinations). Not being a tourist hot-spot, the prices are lower: you can still get an espresso for 1 euro, and that was in the cafe (Caffe degli Artisti) next to the major draw of the Teatro Olimpico, Europe's oldest covered theatre. Superb variety of good value pizzas (and excellent beers) at the Pizzeria Vesuvio nearby. And for something different, go to the Parco Querini: an attractive park but what we didn't expect were the dozens of domestic rabbits hopping all over the place: brown, black, white, spotted, long-haired. Very surreal. Coypu too, swimming in the lake and water channels.

Vicenza is superb for about 3 day stay - to recover our tastebuds after Germany - and is charming for that period. There were a number of exhibitions and museums (and the Theatre Olympico is a must) together with pleasant food, wine and company

We were only in Vicenza for 2 full days so we went to the ticket office and purchased a pass to visit 4 museums/attractions. We used 3 on just the first day so went back for another 2 on the second day (6 in total). Each one was terrific and well worth a visit. There are endless cafes and restaurants so we were never short of somewhere to sit and relax and enjoy great food and drink. Also lots of great shops.
Our hotel was very central so everything was within easy reach. For those who record their steps each day, we did a bit over 10,000 each day - very manageable.

Vicenza is an overlooked city in the hear of Italy.
Vicenza is an overlooked city in the hear of Italy. It has a wonderful selection of bars and restaurants, great museums, and incredibly kind people. The history is everywhere. Recommend visiting the numerous churches, museum of jewelry, and the theater if you have to choose just a few things. The city is walkable with many small streets to walk through while window shopping.

A lovely upscale town.
A lovely upscale town. Very safe, lots of restaurants and bars. Beautiful Palladian architecture. Highly recommend Palladian Tours. We had a walking tour and a self-guided e-bike tour (with GPSand online narration) of the Palladian villas on the outskirts of town. It’s a long but fun day! Avoid the restaurant called Prep on the main square: tourist trap that charges three times the coperto of other places on the piazza, accepts only cash (which you don’t know until time to pay), they insist that pizzas are personal size only even though it’s large enough for two people and will not let you share, and they have no boxes or means of transporting leftover pizza for you to enjoy the next day.
The condo was close to so many amenities, inside the old city. There were Cafes and restaurants, and food stores within a block. The owner was very easy to work with, and very responsive. The AC really worked well. That is not always the case in Italy in the Summer. The kitchen had what we needed. The shower was nice and roomy. It was a comfortable place to stay, and relax, while we visited Vicenza, Verona, Venice and Padua by Rail. And a good base of operations for our trips to the Dolomites and Milan.
very friendly people. They made me a simple pasta when de kitchen was not opened yet and I needed to eat early. We didn’t speak eachothers language but we managed to communicate. The hotel is not luxury but my bed was perfect, the room was clean and the shower good. A big pro is the private parking. breakfast is coffee or tea and a croissant of other pastry. I’m used to yoghurt or bread but this pastry is what you can expect in Italy. There is a small supermarket across the street.
The flat is great and furnished with a lot of love. The location is perfect. There is a bakery, a greengrocer, an ice cream parlour and two great and trendy bars around the corner. Parking, the old town and a park are three to four minutes' walk away.
Vicenza is a really great city, palaces like in Venice, few tourists, but full Italian life.
We fell in love with the flat and Vicenza!
Thank you very much!
Upon booking, the owners contacted me and offered to give information about local restaurants and wineries.
The apartment has its own parking place and is located directly across from a mall with restaurants and a grocery store.
The apartment is very modern with all the amenities you could need. It is a perfect place for a couple to spend some nice days in Vicenza.
Overall a nice room, with a separate, clean bathroom. Very well priced. The staff doesn't really speak English but knows how to use translator apps when push comes to shove. Very sweet otherwise. I brought my dog, which wasn't any problem. There is free parking in the back. I didn't try the restaurant/pizzeria that is associated with the hotel.
Dario is charming - and the apartment is very comfortable and roomy for 2 people. Vicenza is a lowkey gem for a few days- and this apartment was ideal for us with proximity to good cafe (breakfast) and good restaurants/winebars and not very far to main centre to walk...also useful to have washing machine dryer when proceeding to next location!
Excellent concierge service! I arrived on Easter day and they suggested and booked a lovely restaurant for my dinner. It was fantastic. The room was super comfortable. Sadly the rooftop was not open during my stay, the view of the Basilica would have been breathtaking as the hotel is just 100 feet away.
The best about this hotel is everything. The personal touch, the location, the quality of the rooms, breakfast and price. It will be my only hotel to stay in Vicenza. The most important thing is that you can check in at any time not as other hotels offer only check in until 21.00.
A beautiful and classic hotel.
Comfortable rooms. Air conditioning.
Polite staff.
Sufficient breakfast.
Parking in the garage.
25 minutes from the historic center.
Vicenza, typical Italian city. Delightful!
The most polite, helpful and cheer making personnel, I have ever met in a hotel!
13 minutes walk straight to the Vicenza center.
Large rooms
Comfortable beds.
Exceptional price - value balance.
Great coffee!
Great place for stay, nice garden and pool. If willing to play golf, the court is just next to the hotel.
Very easy to reach Fiera di Vicenza and City Center.
Fantastic breakfast.
It was the lovely staff that made this excellently located hotel exceptional. Friendly, professional, helpful. Our first visit to Vicenza and this hotel was wonderful for it.
Room was large and clean. Very quiet and peaceful. The landscaping was beautiful. It is just a few mins outside of Vicenza and close to the base if you are in the military
