The Riad is very old (300+ years) and absolutely authentic. Nothing has been structurally altered. Very clean and well maintained (despite its obvious age).
The staff as usual are so nice and helpful.
Breakfast up on the terrace is wonderful. Rooms are very comfortable. The house is steeped in history and a sensory delight. Safi is not a big tourist town, it is old and real Morocco.

The location was excellent, just in front of the Corniche.
We parked right in front of the appartement. It's easy to find because of the colors.
The place is OK to stay for a few days with family. We had enough space and all the commodities needed to have a quiet stay.
We got the keys just at our arrival and all instructions were clear.
You can hear noise from the road but at night it's quiet after 11:00 PM.
You also have the excellent view of the Corniche and you can visit a lot of places around.

I liked the guy, he is very nice and the apartment was very clean
Very nice city and friendly people. Personally I prefer the quiet places. Unlikely Marrakesh, Safi is very quiet and nice city to discover and learn about in a week, you will be able to make friends easily and recognise the locals quicker. Also the beach and the areas around it is very close and the prices are very affordable.

Safi, Great little Medina, loads of shops, nice promenade but many of the main sights were closed for refurbishment.
Superb pottery, well worth an unofficial guided tour, but agree your price before you go.
Loads of artists showcasing their work.
Not much else to do but wander around the souk and potteries. Great for a 2 day trip, wouldn't want to spend more than 3-4 days there.

Friendly city.
Friendly city. There aren't too many tourists, so it's not for show - you just see people getting on with their daily lives. It doesn't have touristy markets and many restaurants, but there sure are places to eat (Chez Hosni!) and the pottery quarter is fantastic. 1-2 days are enough.

Safi, not my favourite spot in Morocco. Why?
Safi, not my favourite spot in Morocco. Why? Well, I just did not have a feeling with it. This does not mean you have to skip it! Just a few houres or one day is enough to see all the highlights in this city. If you go to the beach, definitly drink a juice or cocktail in the Wave & Chill bar.

There is nothing to see or do in Safi, and there are no good restaurants either. Therefore I would not recommend Safi unless you just want to relax and do nothing. But the people are good and I felt comfortable there.

Safi is an interesting city especially for the lovers of the ceramics.
Very different of the other Moroccan cities. Very traditional and without so many tourists.
I recommend to go to the beach, which is amazing . If you are looking for a nice place to eat , Chez Hosni is the best.
Very nice hotel in Safi. The staff was very friendly and very helpfull. There is an elevator. We have booked a suite room......which was huge and well equiped. The airco was working well. The shower was well equiped and spacy. The free WIFI was superb! (you will get the code at the reception). We have parked our car in the garage which was well secured. Conclusion: a pleasant stay in a nice hotel in Safi.....next time when I am in Safi again.....for sure I will book again in Hote Al madina!
One of the best hotel in town so far, still brand new, Room Very Clean, Smart Tv, Mini bar fridge, bottles of water, very comfortable bed, Parking,…Good location only few minutes walk/drive to all Amenities ..(fast food, Tea/coffee shops, clothing stores ,etc..)
Room service is available, (I been charged about 5$for tea🫖 ☕️ which is bit to much!)😉
All the staff very friendly and helpful..
I didn't expect to be given such a large space for such a small fee, everything we needed was provided and our host contacted us in advance to confirm our arrival. Ahmad is a very nice and helpful person. Gave loads of recommendations for places to see in Safi and the best restaurants where we can eat dinners or breakfast
The house is incredibly comfortable with a really nice design. Good location just around the corner from one of the most beautiful beaches in Morocco (Lalla Fatna) and an easy drive to Safi. Youssef was very responsive and helpful. It was an added bonus that the neighbor brought us fresh eggs and bread in the morning.
Thank you for wonderful time at your hotel. Amazing and friendly owners made us feel like home. The hotel is located on a hill with a wonderful view of the ocean. The whole place is designed in an outstanding Moroccan style. I loved the place and highly recommend it to all 💕 greetings from Dominika and Zakaria 💕
Beautifully designed and very clean comfortable rooms in the heart of Safi. We had the AAWA double room with sea view window and private bathroom. It was bright, airy and super fresh. Great toiletries and reception. A professional establishment at a very reasonable cost! Superb design - exactly our style.
Great location, the view was spectacular. The pool was perfect. The food was very good. Great feel to the hotel, but the gem of the hotel is its staff. From the Chef, to the guide, to the manager, all of them were cheerful, helpful and caring.
The staff were amazing, everything was clean, and the staff were on a 24/7 service, which made my stay comfortable and smooth, I highly recommend the place for anyone that is looking for a relaxed enjoyable stay in Safi
The hotel is good and the was conformable and clean.
Location is very good close to the centre - a lot of cafes, restaurants and stores.
All Staff are very helpful - special thanks to Shafeeq, Ibrahim and Ayoob.
Please note; the WiFi is free, not paid for; as stated
I have been coming to Safi for many years now, and every time I come I stay in this hotel, because in my opinion its the best in the locality
