Excellent location with beautiful views. A 15 minute easy walk into town. A one minute walk down to cafes, restaurants and small shops by the wharf. Had everything for our weekend stay. Nice breakfast options. The spa was a bonus.
A lovely little town with surf hiring gear & clothing shops.
A lovely little town with surf hiring gear & clothing shops. There are nice boutiques & a couple of galleries selling locally made work.
There’s a good selection of restaurants & coffee shops plus two shops for groceries if you’re self catering.
The beaches are easy to reach & very spacious & well known for surfing 🏄🏻♀️
All the local people we met were friendly, interesting & kind.

I want to start by saying I got COVID there.
I want to start by saying I got COVID there. I’m sure I would have enjoyed it a lot more if I hadn’t. Had to stay extra time.
The place is lovely, the people are overall really polite, and some people are still against masks and will make completely unnecessary, unrequested, unwanted commentary about it.
Really good food. Really gorgeous beaches. Perfect place to just walk around and discover things.
Got on Raglan Sunset Cruise (the Wahinemoe) and it was awesome. Informative, gorgeous, and offered the option of Raglan Fish which I’m told has declined in quality, but seemed edible enough.
It was a good place to rest. Raglan Roast is delicious. The Stoned Cow has a really nice Banana Bread. Orca bar & restaurant gave me the best meal of my life.
I was pleased with it.

We stayed central and was able to enjoy all the great coffee (Raglan Roast, Indy) and food. Raglan Roads and Indy offered fantastic coffee and service. For food we visited the Raglan Bakery for breakfast and lunch and it is the best bakery I've come across on my travels in New Zealand - highly recommended with well priced food. WE also had lunch at Indy and the The Mexican Place. ULO's Kitchen was our go for dinner place -great food and atmosphere - we were there two nights in a roll.
There was yoga at the Space - very enjoyable.
We went kayaking with Raglan Kayak and Paddleboarding - that was the highlight of our trip. The weather was not great but they put as at ease and accommodated our request. We had winds and some rain which just added to the great adventure.

We only spent one Saturday morning in Raglan but we loved what we saw. We had a delicious breakfast at "The shack" a cafe recommended by staff at our motel. Everywhere eating establishment we saw looked inviting. After breakfast we ventured around the shops. There are lots of interesting art and craft shops to explore. Sadly we only saw glimpses of the beach as we were on a tight schedule. We are now planning a much longer stay.

Raglan is a lovely little town, the Sunset Motel is within walking distance of the town centre with a number of Cafes and restaurants. There is also a small supermarket next door with a good range of grocery items.
Unfortunately it was cold and wet when we there so we didn't get to experience any water activities.
Really recommend it as a holiday destination for a few days.
Nestled near Raglan and Ruapuke Beach, this cabin offers a serene escape with its breathtaking surroundings. Immaculately decorated, the interior reflects a perfect blend of comfort and style. The cleanliness is outstanding, enhancing the overall experience. It’s an ideal retreat for those seeking beauty and tranquility in one picturesque package.
Beautiful views and quiet location. Delicious fresh baked muffins every morning along with breakfast foods, juice and local Raglan products with information about them which was a nice touch. The host was very helpful and available when needed and the apartment was very comfortable and homely.
Awesome house that caters brilliantly to big families or a couple of smaller families. Has absolutely everything you need, and everything has been considered - right down to the fireplace being set and the spa being hot and ready to go. The perfect house to enjoy a stay in Raglan.
This is an amazing little bach in Raglan. The beds were so comfortable and having the 2 separate cabins were great for the boys as it was Soundsplash weekend. Loved the layout of the home. Well serviced and cleaned on our arrival. The kitchen had all that was needed
The location is just fantastic - you are right in the heart of Raglan - close to the restaurants, coffee shops, vibe etc. The villa is lovely and quirky, with pretty well equipped kitchen, bonus dishwasher! The restaurant recommendations were good.
I like the place and the location a lot. The views of nature are breathtaking. The house is so peaceful and very clean. Raglan is impressive. We will definitely come back
Instructions from the host is so clear and I don't have to ask anything.
The room is sparkling clean with tip top conditions and amenities! Thank you host for the warm hospitality, it feels so much like home. Thank you Steve and Claudia for being so attentive to all my queries at all time. Much appreciated.
Great location in Raglan, a lovely clean and well furnished little house. It had everything we needed including board games to play in the wet weather.
Beautiful linen on the beds, quality all around.
Super central and walkable to everything. The room and bathroom, although dated, was immaculately clean. Large spacious rooms with balcony. Lovely staff. Great parking close to the rooms.
Great Bach, Plenty of room, family-friendly, comfy beds, a cozy woodfire for winter and a fantastic view. Feels a lot nicer than staying at an impersonal motel/hotel.
Quiet rural location a short drive from Raglan. Communication from property manager was excellent, property was clean and nicely appointed with thoughtful touches.
