This Inn is a little hidden when driving through the town and we were definitely traveling during non-peak season. The streets were dead! Either way, we got to the Inn and thought we had the whole place to ourselves, because there were no other cars in the parking lot. We walked in and saw a beautiful, modern lobby with a fireplace going. The room was spaciously small, if that makes sense. There's no elevators in this place, so be prepared to carry your luggage around.
Breakfast was good too. They had a little bit of everything, but better than a continental breakfast at a normal hotel.
I would stay here again.
Situated 2 blocks from West Yellowstone Town Park, this non-smoking hotel offers free Wi-Fi in all rooms.

Nothing no staff on hand to register and get room entry- room 114 was in a filthy condition had to phone the receptionist back out to get another room after 15-20 of messing around then got offered another room as key card didn’t work on room 116 finished up getting a room although we asked the receptionist for a refund but was told that we had to contact booking.com. The receptionist that booked us into the hotel was very unhelpful and not once did she apologise at any time! I would recommend this hotel to anyone there are other faults but too long to make at this time. 😡😡

Lovely room comfortable and clean. It even had a kettle which was a delight as I am not a coffee drinker. So was able to have tea. The staff were friendly and helpful. The complex had free laundry a bonus.

Nice hotel. Free ice cream + s’mores were a nice touch.
My husband and I truly enjoyed West Yellowstone. The vistas within the park were absolutely stunning. We spent 2 days touring this section of Yellowstone. We are well travelled and this trip to Yellowstone is one of the best vacations we have taken. The town itself is cute if not a little dated. It had good shopping for souvenirs and decent restaurants. The people were friendly.

West Yellowstone is a resort town built for a basically captive audience of seasonal tourists. Consequently, as one might expect, it is expensive and chock-full of kitsch. Yellowstone NP is in a very remote area, and in-park accommodations are limited, expensive, and need to be booked a year (or more) in advance. So, staying outside the park, in West Yellowstone and Gardiner, is a popular option. We stayed in both, to have convenient access to different parts of the park. Yellowstone is huge, and trying to explore the park from just one location can result in an inordinate amount of driving and wasted time.
So, unless you're camping in the park or fortunate enough to land a room at one or more the in-park lodges, you will be staying in West Yellowstone or Gardiner, or both. They are tourist towns, first and foremost, and exist in their current state only because they are so close to the park and have no real competition. My better half doesn't mind the inflated prices and relentless kitsch. I do. YMMV.

It is convenient to Yellowstone, and the Inn is very close to the park. Plenty of restaurants to choose from, tourist shopping, and museums. The drive travellings to and from is beautiful. I recommend The Grey Wolf Inn.

Nice town with lots of choices for food, shopping and motels. Unfortunately, I would not stay at the Yellowstone Country Inn again. The Outpost had a very good breakfast. Dinner at Three Bears Restaurant and Old Town Cafe was very good. Staff at all three restaurants was also very good.

High Marks Rentals were great in customer service and friendliness renting great new model snowmobiles. Great eating establishments. Parked the snowmobiles right outside Kelly Inn for convenience. Full active days in the wonders of what God created.
Drove our snowmobiles to eat at night! Drove to the grocery. Gased up each day at the Sinclair a couple blocks on the way to trails and open fields. Very deep deep powdery snow. Especially up on Two Tops.
Tired at night. ☺️😴

Make sure you book snowmobiling tours to the national park at least a week ahead, we didn't know the park was closed on the west side so we ended up not seeing anything :/ (snow coach is extremely pricey, almost 500 bucks for two, so we couldn't afford it) snowmobiling is so much fun we ride on trails.

I think Clubhouse Inn is the nicest place to stay if you visit Yellowstone. It is 2 minute drive from west entrance of the park and judging by exterior of other hotels Clubhouse seemed to be nicest. Breakfast was not poor like in most hotels rather a complete with toasts, cereal, pancakes, eggs, sausage, juices and more. Room was large and nice with all required amenities. In general if you visit Yellowstone then West entrance is the best base. We arrived to Boseman and drove 2 hours to West Yellowstone.
Staff was friendly, location was convenient, and the breakfast was good, consisting of bagels, pancakes, breakfast cereal, prefab eggs, sausage, hashbrowns, yogurt and oatmeal. The kids especially enjoyed the pool, which was generous in size. We had a very positive experience. West Yellowstone is a nice, small gateway town and location of any hotel will do, but the amenities at this hotel were particularly well suited to our family with 2 children.
I think this hotel may be a little older, but it is quite comfortable and inside the room, it's just like a Best Western hotel. The town of West Yellowstone is a busy place but the hotel is far enough from the busy street that it is quiet. It had a fridge and microwave. I thought this was a gem of a hotel to stay in and very close to the entrance of Yellowstone and near shopping and the museum.
location good for visiting Yellowstone Park, price-quality (in our opinion) better than inside the park. Coffee facilities, swimming pool, microwave, breakfast, wifi and mobile phone coverage all available (these were not available inside Yellowstone in the much more expensive 'park' hotels. Nice park with playground for kids to play next to hotel, stores closeby
Hotel was likely the best in West Yellowstone , it is new and very clean. Most lodging in town is older. The rooms were spacious and well equipped with mini fridge and microwave. Breakfast was not bad, though no hot items like eggs. They had some extras like smores and ice cream in the evening afternoon. They also have washer dryers in the hotel.
The couple that checked us in was very nice and organized. The pool was closed temporarily but we were allowed access to a nearby hotel’s pool. The breakfast was great (reviews confirmed!) with a great variety of food. The location was great for walking to downtown West Yellowstone and also really close to the West entrance to Yellowstone.
The chalet is at the end of the street about 6 miles west of West Yellowstone. Residential area, very quiet, in the middle of the woods. Everything worked and was fine, the house was spaceous and comfortable. We stayed for three nights. If you want a quiet stay away from all the tourists - this is it!
When booking a hotel, we look for convenience to the park, safe and quiet place, good breakfast. Kelly Inn has them all. Kelly Inn has two buildings that serve slightly different breakfast each day. Gusts can choose to have breakfast at any of two buildings.
Place was amazing, comforts of a hotel but own private cabin. The firepit at night with complementary smores an added bonus. Even visited the wildlife preserve across the street before entering Yellowstone right outside the West Yellowstone gate!
Met by Cynthia on arrival to hand over the keys. Gave us a rundown of West Yellowstone and how to access the park easily.
Ideal location as easy to access all West Yellowstone had to offer. Entrance to Yellowstone Park 2 mins drive away.
A vew minute drive from the west entrance to Yellowstone. The hotel is clean and well maintained, good breakfast, the staff is very friendly and helpful. It is one of the best places to stay in West Yellowstone.
The bedding was very comfortable,
breakfast was more than your usual hotel chain.
Location was top factor, right outside West Yellowstone entrance. The staff provided all the necessary elements for our stay.
West Yellowstone town was nice and very close to the national park. The hotel was convenient and comfortable for our one night stay and included breakfast. We were pleased to have use of the small pool.
I really liked the area of the hotel. Staff were super friendly. Kids loved the complementary icecream. Nice pool and hot tub. And it is very close to the park, right on the edge. Thanks for everything.
