Lovely scenery although getting there you drive through...
Lovely scenery although getting there you drive through squatters. However, centrally located and close to all facilities and activities. We loved the cottage.
We loved the cottage. It was just what we needed, pity it was just for 2 nights, Hopefully next time it will be longer. The river below was in full flow due to all the recent rains and more while we were there. We took a walk down to have a closer look. The area is lush and lovely, but then so is the whole of the Midlands Meander !!

Lidgetton in general is one of the nicer areas to travel...
Lidgetton in general is one of the nicer areas to travel through on the Midlands Meander. There are lots of shops close together and some very nice restaurants available. It also still contains a few gems like Culamoya Chimes and Swissland Cheese, which thankfully survived the lockdown.

Ideal location for all your big sites and attractions. Easy access and wonderful views. Loads of activities for everyone. Piggly Wiggly for shopping and family outings. Lions River brewery for a pint or two of Craft Beer. Orchards has a breathtaking venue for weddings and functions.

Diner was surprisingly good with high standards. We recommend this hotel for sure and hope to come back some day.
