Flott lavafelt utenfor og kort til så mange severdigheter. Vi laget mat selv , og alt vi trengte var der. Stille og rolig område.

Skútustadir Guesthouse ligger på en gård ved sørbredden av Mývatn og har fjellutsikt, felleskjøkken og en felles salong. WiFi og parkering er gratis. Everything about this guesthouse is nice. The breakfast provided has a very good spread. The homemade jam was nice. Milk from their cows were tasty. The rooms are clean and very well equipped. The aurora view were extremely beautiful & awesome. The hosts are very attentive as well.

The very comfortable home from home, accommodation. Plenty of space for four people to spread out and enjoy the view across the lake. The close proximity to the amazing geological sites was a real bonus. The laundry facilities were excellent and we made good use of them.

It was a cute little hut. There's no bathroom in the room, but they seemed to be very clear about that up front. We enjoyed sitting on our front porch sipping wine and looking over the lava field.
